    I loved Bali but after 18 months there it was time to try somewhere new and Koh Phangan was definitely a breath of fresh air! Like you say it's a bit small and lacks a lot of modern leisures that I would personally like to have but I think it would be great for a month or two!

    Combine living in Bali with weekends trips to Lombok, surf trip to the mentawais, or diving trips to Komodo and Raja Ampat, then it's hard to beat that, trust me 😉.

    You're absolutely right. Bali is beautiful, but it's too crowded. Over time, you end up not loving it as it should be loved.

      @@dewamadesidiasentana3303 ini untuk para digital nomad, komunitasnya sekarang ada di canggu, dan juga Ubud. kalau bedugul dll. tentu bukan tempatnya untuk tinggal dan kerja online, perlu intermet cepat , teman2 sesama digital nomad, cafe , resto dll.

    I love how you describe everything and you have a lovely voice and accent.👌
    Now you said yopu lived in Bali for 18 Months. Could you describe to me how it was from december to March? Is it worthy to be there these time?

    • @joyoushapes
      @joyoushapes  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Thank you soo much! You made my day 😊 Dec-March is rainy season but it's also true that lately is hard to predict.
      Some things I'd take in consideration if you want to go during those times is that 1. there will be less people 2. it will be cheaper. The down side is that it might rain more than usual.
      Are you planning to go?

    To overcome traffic difficulties in Bali, especially in tourist centers, it is reported that the Bali regional government will improve rail and electric-based public transportation services (LRT), which will begin construction in the near future.

    • @joyoushapes
      @joyoushapes  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Omg this would be sooo goood!! I think Bali doesn't have many streets (which is totally understandable) but introduce some electric-based transportation could really support the health of the island, especially now that the tourism is heavy! Thank you for sharing this info!!

  • @hellarnirk99

    Koh Phangan of course for me but Bali is also nice and as you said it is just overcrowded.

    • @joyoushapes
      @joyoushapes  Před 10 měsíci

      Yeah the crowd is so bad! Even tho the island is awesome, the traffic really put me off :( Another person in the comments said that they are planning to introduce electric-based transportation in Bali! What do you think about it?

      @@dewamadesidiasentana3303 gak ada unsur jelekin bos, dan gak nyalahin. kenyataannya mmg macet kan Canggu dan sekitar, tempat orang luar tinggal jangka waktu lama. .Kalau Koh Phagan pulau kecil penduduk jg sedikit.

    Why are some tourist attractions in Bali paid?
    1, because these tourism objects are included in village management, and funds from tourism object income will be used by the village to care for tourism objects and improve the economy of villagers, because in Indonesia all areas are expected to be independent, even though every year the central government allocates 'village funds' for all villages in Indonesia.
    2. so that tourists who come to these objects can be monitored, especially regarding the safety of tourists, and with this supervision the management knows what tourists will do when visiting these tourist objects, because there are several areas that have sacred places and tourists cannot behave outside limits of decency that have been set, and of course this supervision also costs money.

    Wrong comparison, it should be Bali vs phuket. Koh phangan is a small party/meditation island and not really a hub for digital nomads
