Sate Maranggi (Beef Satay) | Butter Joy

SATE MARANGGI (BEEF SATAY)
Indonesian satay has many variations, one of the popular ones is beef satay called Sate Maranggi, originated from a satay seller in Purwakarta. This is beef satay recipe which is very easy to make at home.
400 gr beef shank
Marinade:
6 garlic
12 shallots
5 cm galangal
2 tsp coriander seeds
3 tbsp tamarind water
2-3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp palm sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp mushroom powder
Tomato chili condiment:
2 tomatoes
5 small red chilis
15 small green chilis
1 garlic
3 shallots
2 lime
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
