My family has a 2010 limited we bought when it was brand new. Has 200k miles now and that thing still drives like it did day 1, never needed a single repair either. Even bone stock these things pull so hard and the gas pedal is so touchy. Sucks the new RAV4s & RX350s ditched that glorious V6
The lower boost at lower speeds is to help make the drivetrain last longer, but top of 2nd and 3rd it really starts to pull when I add more boost by gear.
I'm more amazed that you knew what it was by the exhaust sound, I thought I had cropped the video enough that you couldn't see what I had tried racing.😅
@TEKSMRT Could you go over any swapped internals. Thinking about doing something similar to a 1gr-fe in a 4runner but I’m wondering if I need to swap out some of the internals to handle the extra power

I'd say it's as about as built of an auto trans as these can be done. It's a LevelTen Bulletproof rebuild kit, custom valve body, and high stall torque converter with the Highlander final drive 3.47 gear.
Hey!! I own a 2011 Rav4 Limited v6 and i have just installed a Godspeed coilovers, after installing i am experiencing a vibration at 20-25mph under load then at higher speeds. The car has been looked over and nothing seems to be apparent that could cause this issue, could the angle of the CV axles cause the vibration, or have you ever experienced this issue? Also has been aligned and tires balanced
Not familiar with the quality of Godspeed products, I bought Ceika coilovers. Vibrations like that could be a tire/wheel out of balance due to a weight falling off unless you noticed the vibrations b4 and after the balancing. It can also be a bad CV axle or driveshaft (if awd). Get underneath with the rav4 on jack stands and check for play in the drivetrain.
Yeah, I'm maxing out the MAF sensor. May have to go with larger than 3in. It's a fine line, considering the transmission needs a high reading to shift good but too high and it'll throw a CEL. Quick clear of the DTC and it's g2g until I can sort that out.
...but I think it's right around 12-13s. Back when it was All motor and running a 13.6 1/4mile, it took almost 23 seconds to go 60-130. It's a significant improvement over even that.
@@TEKSMRT a stock 2005 avalon runs 14.6@96mph but righ now with the reflash and bolt ons i am running 14.15@101.7mph on a 2.3 60 foot wich could be way better if i had what they call "grip"

Badass! I’ve got a 2012 ford fusion sport 3.5 AWD that I wish I could put a turbo on.
Just have to make the jump. No one makes a kit for the rav4, so I made my own!
