It's time to do some shopping at Dollar Tree and see if we can find some Bobby Approved food items!
THANK YOU BOBBY FOR VISITING AND FINDING HEALTHY STUFF AT DOLLAR TREE.
🤗💯
Anyone else remember when everything at dollar stores were actually a dollar? Now it makes more sense to call them discount stores.
Not even cause half the time it’s not even a discount. Walmart and especially wholesale stores are almost always a better buy.
Bidenomics
@@kevingp12
Exactly ☝
There are other stores with a lot of stuff under $1 . Dollar tree sucks
Does anyone else find it absolutely INSANE that we send salmon to China to be processed and packaged? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🎪
The slave labor there works cheap.
@@fmthebaron Sad
I find that hard to believe!
its the same way with chicken, i was shocked to hear that last year, that we ship there, they process and send it back.
China is probably adding bad stuff in our food. They don't like Americans anyway. I would rather pay more if it's from the USA.
I am getting very good at reading ingredients thanks to you!
That is a huge Dollar Tree. And it's so organized. Wow. 👀
After seeing this video I went into one of the dollar trees by my house and I was impressed as well and I got most of the things I seen on this video
@@brandonohara4122 Cool. I wish mine would get their act together.
We really like their bags of frozen veggies by TJ FARMS like the cauliflower Bobby held up. Also, on the back of the package you will find a Bible verse which is a nice positive boost for the day. 😄❤️
My fav healthy stuff at the dollar tree are the tuna, the wild salmon in the pouch and the pink himalayan salt.
The product of China stuff freaks me out honestly lol
After the China virus AKA covid I don't trust them
Same
My Chinese friends were the first to tell me never buy food made in China.
😮
America would starve if they stopped importing from China. As they produce literally nothing
My son works at s DT store that looks like that. So clean and organized ❤❤❤
a lot of times just stopping at a dollar tree when travelling so even if its not the best deal you know you CAN get a bobby approved snack inside 😊😊
Trader Joe's video would be epic!
YES!!
He has one already
Trader Joe's has a very strict policy of no filming in their stores. Bobby has tried before and had to be very sneaky to avoid getting caught.
Bobby I approve you, you are awesome. I love the fact that you have gone to a Dollar Plus Tree Store to evaluate it. I know a lot of people who frequent that store including me. Keep up the good work!! Luv Ya
wow that must be a corporate owned store..Ive never seen a dollar tree with stocked shelves and organized
must be a rich area he is in.
Me either
I was thinking the same thing! Most DT stores I’ve been in look like they’ve been hit by a tornado.
pompano beach FL yep rich area
I know right.
Bobby watching you is like watching my brother from another mother! Totally In sync, I now tell my friends that is not Bobby Approved! What I love is that I shop dollar store, Costco, trader Joe's, every grocery store, etc, every high end, and we agree, but I do learn new stuff 😅
That is the most neatest stocked dollar tree i have ever seen in my life ❤😮 like wow
I won’t buy any food from china, Thailand, or Cambodia. Mexico has some good organic options. USA we have rice from here. Thank you Bobby as many people can’t afford much. So this is so helpful for many seniors and families I know
Neither do I and that includes non food items too! I don't trust ingredients that China ships and/or packages for the US. Nope just 🚫.
I like to see you going to a Middle Eastern store and see what's Bobby approved In there.
@@lyinbobbycottonseedOne time went to one where all the packages were randomly stacked and stuck together with a frozen slime, when I sniffed my hand I never forgot the smell, it was byproduct from the meats being cut in the store.
Bruhh what dollar tree are you shopping at?? This has to be the fanciest dollar tree I’ve ever seen, ain’t none of my dollar trees have this shit. They barely have an employee lol
He lives in Boca Raton so it makes sense lol
much of the US chicken is also chipped to china for processing. (like he said salmon is).. I was floored when i heard this. I didnt know about salmon until he said that. wow!
It's really annoying that food gets shipped there for processing. Who knows if they send back what was actually sent.
@@otrebla8944 good point otrebla!
@@otrebla8944 This. My mistrust of the alphabet agencies is high.
You definitely shouldn't watch China Observer then... 🙃
Smithfield meat company has moved processing to China. So all, their pork products are now processed in China.
Yes, I spotted and snatched several of those organic coconut flour packets. Awesome!😊
I'm glad you did dollar tree.
That smoothie can be stretched by adding a bit of water.
Same with most canned soups (the ones whose instructions say don't add water. I do every time.)
Thanks Bobbie for all your information. It gives me a lot to think about before purchasing items at stores so I can make better choices.
I’m so glad you are informing us and perhaps manufacturers will be more mindful What they are selling the consumer. We all have to work together and I appreciate you very much, thank you!
I always buy two or more of most organic items there. I also choose European mushrooms, jams, etc from any European country in glass jars because they do not allow any GMOs there nor the bad preservatives. I stock up with four or five. I love the dark chocolate bars from Poland. They are a third the size of what they use to be but frankly as good as any Belgian chocolate. I will buy a few of the salmon pouches now too.
They do allow some GMO crops in the EU for cultivation. Also, a lot of the EU animal feed is imported GMO crops from America.
Depends on the product & the country. Generally speaking, anything from the EU has a greater probability of being safer than anything from the US. That includes cosmetics & toiletries.
Thanks for reminding me about the asparagus in the jar- I used to get them all of the time, but I haven't been to a Dollar Tree in awhile.
Jar of roasted bell peppers at the Dollar Tree is great. Actually any jarred veggies. Same items are usually two to three times more expensive at walmart or aldi.
Most of these products come from locations that are not heavily regulated and /or don't use the safest ingredients. Best to look for safer sourcing, ingredients and packaging, even if you need to pay more.
Can't beat Whole Foods 365 stuff! Or Wegmans store brand products. Both Whole Foods and Wegmans feature a ton of affordable, organic items! It's great!
What about people who literally can not afford to pay more? You sound insensitive
@@jennys2543 I don’t think insensitive is the right word.
Try again.
Look FOR BIOENGENNERED INGREDIENTS THEY ARE IN WM, MANY STORE SHELVES! THE INGREDIENTS ARE GROUND UP WOOD 🪵. I FOUND A 1 1/2 PIECE OF WOOD 🪵 IN A 36 COUNT OF NATURE VALLEY PEANUT BARS FROM A BIG BOX STORE IN MACON, GEORGIA WHEN I CALLED NATURE VALLEY THEY OFFERED ME A $2.00 COUPON AND WERE NOT CONCERNED I CRACKED MY MOLAR TOP LEFT TOOTH!!!!!! PREMIUM CRACKERS HAS THE BIOENGENNERED INGREDIENTS ON THE BOX! IT IS IN MOST EVERY BIG CORPORATE STORE ON EVERY SHELF INCLUDING CEREAL! PRICES WENT UP AND FOOD QUALITY EVEN IN LAND O LAKES BUTTER LISTS BIOENGENNERED INGREDIENTS ON THE BOX!!!! EVERY CORPORATE STORE!
OK so it for everybody saying go to Whole Foods cause it’s better don’t understand the concept of poverty and also food deserts so a lot of times when people live in a food desert which means there isn’t a Whole Foods within 5 miles or a Frys or Dominic‘s or wherever you live there’s not a grocery store that’s in walking distance so sometimes people go to the dollar stores or what used to be the dollar stores and then it turned into the dollar 25 store and then the last time I ran into grab batteries. There are five duck bucks a pack so I don’t go there anymore unless it’s for cards because cards are still greeting. Cards are still an amazing deal everything else the price is actually compared to when you can get to a regular food store or order online because they are made to. Be smaller amounts and smaller packaging’s sometimes then you get at grocery stores
I really enjoy your videos Bobby... Thank u so much for making them so i can understand what I'm eating for being a type 2 diabetic. Love u Bobby keep making videos for us all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like using the pink salmon packets for salmon croquettes vs the canned with the bones in it.
I liked them in the pouches...😊
Dimples - the bones in canned salmon are soft and edible and full of calcium.👍🏽🌹
Thank you Bobby for showing us how to shop wise with pricing & ingredients. But wonder how aware you are to highlight MORE ethical stores to do biz with than nefarious corporations that will all get shut down, 🙏, in the foreseeable future!
Yes agree with you Dollar General way too high. But worst is Family Dollar. Wish you would expose Family dollar. Family dollar sometimes with Dollar Tree as I think DT bought Family Dollar or something. (Think that got DT in trouble financially) But 1.25 items 2 to 3 times higher then the 1.25 at regular Dollar Trees!!! It’s like they prey on small town people who have no other stores unless drive 40 to 50 miles.
Yes, please expose Dollar General. That's a predatory store. Prices are outrageous. They need to change their name. There are other videos on YT about their high prices.
I think Dollar Tree owns Dollar General
I think many of the Dollar Genera;'s are going to be closing. It's been on the news lately.
I never go to dollar stores, most of the time they trick you into thinking hey this is only 1.25$! But you hardly get anything out of it and at some other stores, that same item would be under 1$
@@jeanninegorden8142 no dollar tree owns family dollar. Dollar general is on its own
Dollar tree and dollar general are two different companies I believe
I just wanna say thank U for the education I`m getting from your videos and I have been telling all my friends about your channel and wisdom of food . I am disappointed in our government allowing these company`s to put all this stuff in our foods. Hopefully if we all buy less of the bad food they will learn to do better in making it .
Thank you for these tips greatly appreciated!
Yes yes yes yes yes yes more more more more Dollar Tree special finds please from Bobby thank you❤
I appreciate this video so much, I love the freeze dry fruits also yes expose the "low" cost stores to
I saw Jacksonville on that shrimp, DUUUUUUVVVVAAAALLLL!!! lol
The organic coconut flour is a bargain I scoop uo all the time. The refined coconut oil is good for cooking)baking things when you don't want the coconut taste. Saw some new things to look for. Thanks!
And also Happy Mother's Day to Desi!💕💕🌺🌺💐💐🤗

Has anyone thought about Jessica Simpson when he mentioned “chicken of the sea”? 😂🙈
Lol! I immediately did!
So it's chicken? 🤔
Hi Flavcity/
(Bobby)! Love how you found discount finds and things that are to look for!🐟Alright, Later!!💕Peace
Thoughts around greek yogurt vs organic greek yogurt. I love it, but organic is double the cost for each container
Thank you Bobby. I am probably in the minority. But I rarely shop at Dollar Tree and never buy food there. I will have to start shopping there or at least browse around. My daughter on the other hand lives at Dollar Tree.
And yes please do a Dollar General. That would be interesting to compare prices.
I live in Alabama, and Dollar General stores are EVERYWHERE! Yes, their prices are insane, the aisles are messy and boxes of stock waiting to go on the shelves are everywhere. I will start shopping at Dollar Tree after seeing this video.
If your patient you can look at their discarded stop that they discard. Trust me it's an outrageous amount.
corn syrup in kids branded applesauce shouldn't even be legal, the us needs a complete revamp of their food laws and bad
I really love your videos Bobby. Thank you for sharing!
Bobby greetings from New York well I always like to check ✔️ your videos because is a huge help. For at least trying to eat with less ingredients bad for the health. Now I am watching the one of dollar tree. The bad of dollar tree not those stores have all those products available. Sadly but thanks for the huge help.
Yes, more videos like this and do the Dollar General.
Love everything you do. Thanks for so much good nutrition advice over the years. Until this video (bangs myself on the side of the head) I never realized that you're not Keto. Some of the products you showed were "obviously not" keto. Gotta watch those carbs and sugar (in any form). Can't wait for your next Costco haul. You keep producing content, I'll keep on watching!
Yes dollar general next thank you...
Bobby, a year ago I say burger patties at $tree, while there were only a dollar for 4, and the meat was made of beef, w/ heart and liver added. it might sound cheep, but it might be a good way to get more organ meats in a diet. The burger was not to bad either. also if you down in Hollywood, you need to go to the Yellow Green Farms market (95 and Sheridan), for better of worst you might be able to get some good content there.
Read the label on the Asparagus, as my dollar tree sells two very similar products by same manufacturer. This one is healthy, the other is full of additives. Always check the ingredients to be sure you get the one with just asparagus, water, and salt.
1 time I bought that frozen fruit and there was a huge dead beetle in the bag. the fruit also tastes unlike any other strawberries/banana/blueberries i've ever had. tasted rotten or something even though visually the fruit looked good. taste was way way off.. very bizarre. They have a frozen green/red/yellow pepper and onion mix as well and the peppers taste nothing like peppers either. Can't say I trust their frozen stuff, although this was probably 4 or 5 years ago maybe they changed suppliers since then.
Refined coconut oil has a higher smoke point for frying than regular coconut oil.
Higher smoke point less nutritional value
@@kates5528doesn't matter. You DO NOT fry on an unrefined oil, ever. With an exception of olive oil, but do not go crazy with the temperature.
Yes we have a Dollar general here, would like to see on on that.
Wish we had a Dollar Tree here in Querétaro Bobby,so many cool products and like ya say healthy options as well. Here we have Waldo's Dollar Store and was surprised last year to find Organic Trader Joe's Peanut butter, creamy and chunky styles, Bobby approved, no other ingredients, just peanuts and sea salt, sure you have to stir the pb, but at 40 pesos a 300(or 400 gr.) jar, that's 2.50 usd. Thanks for sharing this COOL Dollar Tree tour, 👍and greetings👋for Dessi slava, Rosie and you good buddy.😊
Dry black beans ,pinto and lentils are also available at Dollar tree.
Dollar tree is my happy place!
I was just in a dollar tree and they had a recall on their cinnamon . Lead was found in it .
Traders Joe had a recall on their fresh basil 🌿
Stay safe guys
Dollar Tree has nuts, seeds, dried fruit pieces in small packs in the snack zone, frozen vegetables, frozen grilled chicken sandwich, canned & dry beans, lots of dried herbs & spices, unsweetened iced tea in cooler, protein shakes in bottles, coconut water, tuna, unsweetened applesauce! Enjoy the healthier options ❤
Thank you for this video!
Please do more of these videos. So helpful for me.
Going for the coconut sugar
Thanks
I enjoyed this little walk through. Thanks! I’ll be more conscious of what I buy from there for now on. 🥰
How can you approve Salmon with Tripolyphosphate ? WTF...
Its a dollar store lol beggar cant be chooser.
What exactly is the problem with sodium tripolyphosphate?
I looked it up, Bobby is a sell out!
That coconut oil would actually be a really nice moisturizer.. a small jar, and a great price!
A lot of frozen cauliflower and broccolli sux, and I like these vegetables, but the stalk is always tough and stringy its hit or miss if it's gonna be edible sometimes its fine and sometimes you can't eat it
While traveling and staying at airbnbs or places with limited cooking facilities just a microwave the pre-cooked packaged brown rice is an excellent choice. I also get a package of frozen veggies, I travel with butter and olive oil and Italian seasonings and I have a meal!
Dollar general next bobby! Your the man!
Dimes Smoothie appear to be a Turkish product. No Amazon presence in the US that I can see.

Please do a video on dollar general, their prices are very misleading, when you go and pay for your things they charge you different from the advertised price, Always check your receipt with them, their scammers.
Every store has the same problem. I shop in six or seven major stores and most the time only Costco is the only one who makes no mistakes. It is everywhere.
THANK YOU for this video!!! I always SKIP the food/drink section, NOT ANYMORE!!!
@Bobby Parrish. What is your source for the processing of Salmon in foreign countries, especially for the brand you found at Dollar Tree?
14g of sugar for coconut rolls is a lot, that's half a ounce
Shhhh he wouldn't have any content if he told the whole truth. Does what conmen do!
Awesome , interesting you go out of your way with other stores and educate us , even though I sometimes pick on you with your ads, I still pull up my BA app to scan barcodes and getting too where I have learned enough from you that I don’t have to do that as much , since I have followed you over the years 👍🙏😊
You forgot Goya canned beans, they're usually always at dollar trees.
I always stock up on tuna/salmon packets and Goya beans at dollar trees
I need to go to a dollar tree like this. Most of the stuff I buy at a store like Walmart is cheaper at dollar tree which isn’t too surprising but definitely might have to see if there is one near me.
Thank you for sharing. I’m always at the Dollar Tree. Lol

How is that cost efficient to ship to China to process, with shipping costs (there and back) time delays and who knows what type of hygiene standards/or lack there of.
Told my daughter about the coconut flour. I don't think she believed me. It's a matter of reading labels,no matter the store.
With the rate of inflation, we all gonna shopping the Dollar Tree!!! Thank you for this, Bobby!
You’re in a big Dollar Tree and they must’ve just stocked knowing you were coming! Ours are stocked well… boxes sitting on carts … they don’t hire help like they need. It’s crazy here in NC.
Brown rice has high levels of arsenic. Choose white if you're going to eat it anyway.
Yesterday me and my ex-boyfriend spent 6 hours at the store and then we had to bring some stuff back and then we were so tired after all of that! I should have just downloaded your app. As soon as I got home, I found out that $60 worth of groceries were bad! Full of oils, fatties, etcetera and they had all the labels on it! Non-gmo, vegan friendly, the pigs can fly, the chickens lay golden eggs, etc.
Thank you for the app! I would have downloaded it while we were in the store to save time, but I didn't know it was for Android users! I've only heard you say it was for Apple phone users thank you for creating this app! This will save me a lot of time in the grocery store! 🙏🏽

Great video, I wish you had mentioned the almond milk it’s a pretty good deal
If you're traveling and the highway just has a very expensive convenience store, but GPS says there's a Dollar Tree a mile away. Snacks that don't seem financially viable like the fruit snacks and pistachios are certainly much better than Interstate convenience stores.
