This unusual succulent is known as Veldt Grape, Adamant Creeper, Pirandai (Tamil), Asthisamharaka (Ayurveda) & Devil's Backbone..
Cissus Quadrangularis has been used to treat Bone Fractures in India, Srilanka and Bangladesh..
Also referenced in Ayurvedic texts.
Growth Tips,
1. Can tolerate bright light, Direct sunlight for a few hours.
2. Can thrive in any kind of soil once the roots are established well.
3. Watering is dependent on weather conditions, can tolerate accidental over-watering.
4. Propagate using 3 - 4 segments from the top to create baby plants and mother plant to branch out.
5. Can be grown indoors and outdoors.
