Sting Ray, the best Vette ever made. Hearkens me back to my Beach Boy album, Shut Down Vol. II. This size GooLoo jump starter will crank up a large diesel. Lots of capacity to start many gas vehicles before it drains down. You can also run various small items around camp from the output port. I am a minimalist, but alone in the backcountry this thing could be essential. And yes, you can jump a dead battery, but you have to push the little "boost" button that is kind of hidden on the side of the jumper cable plug. The 4000A model comes with a nice hard case where you keep all the parts -- and the user manual which you should read to fully understand the device.
Great tips there. The power bank still has full bars after the vette start.

@@NorthwestBronco Hi. I received mine today but mine did not come with the charger. Did you get the 90.00 GooLoo charger with yours? GooLoo sells a 100w for $90 and Amazon has 5w for $28.00 I was just curious what came with yours. Thanks.
I have gooloo. If the battery is dead flat the gooloo won't stay on. It has to sense voltage for it to stay on. My Corolla had a dead battery from the interior light being left on and I could start it using the gooloo. It is a good jump starter only if you battery has some voltage.
It should charge the battery a touch after hooked up. Supposed to let it charge the battery for 10 min or so before trying to start the engine. Did you try that? Thank you for the comment!

Brian, you do not have enough clutter in your life, or possibly enough hobbies to fullfill such clutter. 😅
I picked up a similar jump pack a few years ago (AVAPOW 3000A), and check the charge indicator lights every so often. Recently, my F350 7.3 PSD batteries were ignored long enough that I had no cranking. I pulled out this jump pack to give it a test on this beast motor as it is rated for I think up to 8L diesels. Had all 4 indicator lights lit so it should be good to go. NOPE! Didn't do anything. After two or three attempts of the key, I checked the indicator lights again.....one lit now.
Back on the charger and fully charged again (I hope) for the next time I need to attempt a jump.
I just busted out my Honda EU2000 and normal battery charger with 80A boost and got the Ford started right up.
Did you let it sit for 10 min or so before attempting to start. The starter needs to charge the battery before starting. lol about the clutter!!

I might spring for a higher quality one later.
On the flip side, I did just pre order the EcoFlow 800watt alternator charger to go with my Delta 2 units. It has the function up to 800watts DC charging directly to the Delta 2. Also, via the app it will allow reverse flow and let the Delta 2 charge the truck battery, or even just maintain it on a trickle while camping or parked for an extended time.
