    Imagine a colony on a planet thats 1000 light years away from us and looking at earth with a super powerful telescope. They would see earth in year 1020, they could take pictures and even videos of that era and send them to us so we could see real pictures and footage from the past lol how insane would this be

    • @degenetron7590
      @degenetron7590 Před rokem +3

      Could very well be possible. If we somehow managed to travel faster than the speed of light, we could go to certain distances so we could see the earth in the past with a very powerful telescope. And depending on how fast we can travel, the farther away we can look back to history quicker.

      I feel like by the time we are capable of reaching a planet 1,000 light years away, we'd already see Earth in an era after the invention of photography. Maybe if we went farther though.

    I’ve been supporting this channel for 4 years now - back when his subscriber count was below 10K. What I’ve always liked about this channel is that Dreksler doesn’t do what Americans do and constantly compare things to US-made things (example: this hill is as tall as the empire state building), something which *really* annoys me and wish would stop already. Instead Dreksler compares sizes to country diameters, so non-Americans can understand the video much better. It’s so much more helpful than you think

    "Born too late to explore earth and too early to explore the galaxy" is an amazing quote/meme, we are the middle child of history to be honest, we don't get to do anything cool, by the time we send a probe to proxima centauri, we'll be in our 60's and who knows when we'll land there, where basically the stepping stones to our children, i hope if reincarnation is real, we can get to explore other stars in our lifetime.

      we should probably implement a device in our brain that stops us from reacting violently. id rather be a cyborg that is peaceful than be a man who lets his emotions control him. and we cant all grow spiritually and control ourselves, there will simply always be evil in our world, so the evil ones would have to obey the rules.
