My word, firstly thought she was a black singer. Now cannot believe her speaking voice compared to her singing voice. Fabulous singer and very talented.
Oh Lisa, you were part of my acid house days soundtrack with the extended mix of ‘live together’ I loved that song and I heard it played with Larry Heard and Italian deep House tunes back in the day.
Always brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye remembering the positivity and love of that culture.

Lisa do not sing the way she talk she don't sound British when she sing
It's the same for a lot of singers I think - even for US singers regional accents can disappear when singing. But I agree, it must be weird for non UK people to hear her speak 😁 Check out Rick Astley (biggest hit was Never Gonna Give You Up), that's another shocker!
