The ones that get it are the ones who don’t use some type of oil in there hair? Also their hair is very dry, it is very rare😱

Oil has nothing to do with it unfortunately. It’s a myth. I keep my hair very moisturized and I still got it. The person in the video as well.

I have always been told black people don’t get lice. I’ll be darned.

Yes we all have been told that. I was told the same thing growing up but I did get it from treating lice years ago. I think that lice has just adapted to our texture. It’s always been a thing in Africa because the lice is a little different there. The legs are stronger and able to navigate through the hair. American lice was not built for our hair which was why we couldn’t get it before but like I said I believe they have adapted over time

Black people usually don't get lice because of the products we put in our hair, so if you leave your hair dry without products, you can get lice.

@@licewithFrances what??? As an African i challenge this statement. Where is your proof?? Are you African, have you been to Africa and have you had clients that are African? Show me proof asap or stop your nonsense talking.

Im a witness that oil does matter according to experinece, the need to grip & the oil makes it hard.

That’s not true, oil has a lot you do with it. This why they tell you to put oil in your hair to prevent you from getting it. I have been around lice a lot as a teacher and was not seen in hair that has oil, it cannot live in it facts!

Just because you haven’t seen it does not mean it can not happen. This woman is an expert and I’ve been following her on TikTok she’s owned a lice business for years and has seen black get it with plenty of grease in their hair.
