Hydrogen is not easily available and not have High density
Elon musk is pure businessman he does everything to get profit...
There is proper science why Hydrogen is not practical. Starting with energy Density.
Hydrogen itself is not power source it's stores power like battery and transfer it's energy it cannot match electric vehicle in efficiency , it's very costly + it's land vehicles are very slow ,it can always be used in airplane as it's light compared to disel
Lol where this sense go when talking about business men in India..like lala ramdev, film director etc
Thori na Modi hey jo Hindu Muslim Kar nemey busy Hoga 😎😎😎😎.
@Sita Devi he payed 11 billion in tax..
When Elon was making electric car, car manufacturers like Ford, GM ridiculed him. He is now doing the same because he knows Hydrogen cars can put him out of business.

1. Yes, battery vehicles are useful for travel within the city limits, but if we want to travel long distances we need hydrogen cars
2. Also heavy vehicles like trucks or buses which travel a lot need hydrogen fuel
Dont just beloved Elon Musk he's a businessman. he'll say anything to gain profit, just remember India is a huge market for car manufacturing companies.
Nitin Gadkari is a visionary man and we all should support him.
Both battery and hydrogen cars are useful, just for different purposes only.
Just so you know hydrogen is converted into electricity and used to run the motors so its not a combustion engine

Nice Explanation in simple words, but the comment about Elon Musk statement remind me the comments about AC voltage by Edison when he did all the possible efforts to prove AC voltage as not useful & practical in comparison to DC voltage but today AC voltage is used every where, so the day will come when the Hydrogen car will resolve all these hurdles & will be the major part of transportations
Exactly bhaisahab, I thought the same! How Edison fought with Tesla for defending his invention, is same for this current statement by Tesla CEO. Electric vehicles lack the ability of quick refueling, which H2 vehicles have. Thats the big point!
Reasonable reason
Agree
In stead of negative remarks, Elon Musk should try to discuss some positive angles and to research on this for a better world
Why don't u think Elon can create hydrogen car at any time
India will show the path for the rest of the world.. Most welcome to Mr. Nitin Gadkari sir and his vission too...
However, as hydrogen cars densely pack their energy storage, they're usually able to achieve longer distances. While most fully electric vehicles can travel between 100-200 miles on a single charge, hydrogen ones can get to 300 miles, according to AutomotiveTechnologies.
.EVs will be used for local transportation, best options for towns. H2 a good options For long run distances..
Elons 70% of this net worth comes from Tesla, and anything which will harm that net worth he will ofcourse criticize it. Also that guy dosent understand a lot of things. He had previously criticized other tech like AI and then in the end started a company that does AI. I guess after watching terminator he thought AI will become sentient. Similarly hydrogen don’t have baggage of electric car. This is amazing step from gadkari ji. For a break a BJP minister is not doing communal politics and talking about technology it’s a good sign.

Well said bro……..
Gadkari is the only genuinely working minister in central govt, i believe.

Hydrogen fuel is cleanest option of energy. Though, it needs great effort to evolve from it's present stage. It is superior than Li-ion battery in terms of availability of raw material in India. Sir, hydrogen can and is also used like cng in internal combustion engine (traditional engine). Toyota has such cars.
what a simplest way to explain the science topic , like a story . great job anchor . you need to this more and more.
Elon musk's statement about hydrogen is going wrong as already proved by many experts/media. Hydrogen is clean sustainable, easily transportable-rechargeable source of energy. Battery is material expensive (we are already low in lithium), slow in charge, difficult to recycle.
Hydrogen generated by renewable sources is more scalable, may not be efficient but its easy and abundant, if scaled hydrogen will be cheap in no time.
More interesting than fuel cells, hydrogen based internal combustion engine development is one rise, it will make engine design easy and cheap.
Hydrogen looses efficiency in land vehicles , it can only used in airplane fuel nothing else , world is developing anti rust iron battery hydrogen cannot match the price of fossil or electric fuel
@@kaustubhraizada i dont think so, toyota has made its hydrogen combustion car, others are making, JCB has made efficient earth movers using hydrogen
Battery no matter what tech will still be mass heavy, slow chargetime and issues of longevity and recycling..

It's all depends on us whether we build a trust in this energy and give it a chance to prove, by purchasing such vehicle in the future
the main advantage or difference is .. hydrogen tank can be refilled in 5/10 mins like petrol or diesel, whereas electric vehicles takes about half an hour at the moment to charge.
And disadvantage that hydro efficiency is less than elec car...
And i am not sure about which one while less costly as per km.
Good job on spreading concepts on new tech. I have been following this technology for almost a decade now. I totally agree that the efficiency of the fuel cell are not great at the moment. The biggest problem with lithium ion batteries is, the more you build these, you will need to extract it from earth. It will have same/ worst effect on environment. The discussion has already started with Electric cars hasnt it? Hydrogen cars are not practical. You can charge electric cars at home, you would need filling stations for Hydrogen so not very practical. Because transporting hydrogen is not efficient. You cannot store a lot of hydrogen even in large cylinders because hydrogen is the smallest element and the atom is far away and not highly compressible and energy density is quite low..

I am not from Chemistry in specific: Still, one argument, when we do H20 electrolysis using electricity why we are concerned with H2 only that has to be used as fuel cells, ...
For me even the O2 from here is stored and can be used as combustible in production of electricity in thermal power plants, replacing the fossil fuels.
Just ignite and use the modular O2.
I think even using the non-renewable energy as source itself to produce H2 is contributing to produce itself too at first place. And once we have loop of --
{{Electrolysis- leads O2- Thermal way of energy production via turbines- use this electricity to produce more H2 and O2. }}
For me it's a win-win situation. Suggestions expected. :)
That looks like a perpetual mechanism. It is not possible to do so, as no machine or mechanism will work with 100% efficiency. The best efficiency we get is to the tune of 70% from any system.
What you said is very much true.. oxygen gas will be produced along with hydrogen gas in the process.. both can be used for various purposes.
Electrolysis maybe less efficient but here we are splitting h2 and o2.. both of which are useful.. unlike IC engines where you get useless CO2 and CO.
I think nithin ghadkari govt has O2 gas in mind too. Which will make this process feasible.
