I truly think 7 months is the lifespan of the control box. I'm currently on my THIRD smh. The control box just DIES!!!!! I wish I could bypass the control box and use one of my own.

The app is not workimg for me. Can I use the light's without the app? How do I manually stop them from flickering?

My 50' light string is turning on by itself. Not on timer, and it happens every day. Also it won't pair with alexa.

@@DigitalDavid yes 2.4 wifi. The alexa won't even add the skill.
@Digital David well I got the alexa part solved by using a different app instead of xmcosy app. Now I will see if it spontaneously turns on anymore.
