Hey just wanted to say thank you for making this video. Its very hard to find good videos of these types of products especially installed outdoors.
Just installed our 96ft of them. LOVE THEM! Easy, fun and eye appealing. Nice vid!
Mine won't connect to Govee app. Please help
That net.... such a cool setup. Could just leave doors and windows wide open. Really neat.
Very cool! I just received a set to put on my RV awning. Looking forward to using these Memorial Day weekend 😊
Great video, thank you! Awesome set-up.
Video has a great vibe plus really sold me on these lights they seem very bright and have interesting modes
Dude great video and even cooler back yard set up! Very jealous
Awesome just ordered 2. Thank you for the video
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent video very informative you’ve gained a new subscriber from Canada thanks again.. I just wish that when you browse other peoples DIY’s, you can save them I haven’t figured that out yet.
Awesome awesome house! thanks for the review!
John Lee, thanks for your compliment! I hope you continue to watch *SUBSCRIBE* - Todd
Beautiful home, thanks for sharing! I like your rope light, it's pretty bright 😎
Thank you! -Todd
Link to rope light ?
The rope lights look nice but I can’t tell what the rope lights actually look like because all I see is the reflection of green. You should do without them
that thing on the drill was smart ,light work on the mix , i learn something cool ,you ok
Thanks Todd, they look very nice. Enjoy your beer. 😉
Ron, thank you! -Todd
Very cool.
Does it have an option that will randomly dim and turn off individual lights in a particular color? I think it would look nice to stay with white light with them randomly dimming..
I’m glad you finally turned off the rope lights.
Thanks for the review best one I’ve seen! In what field do you work in? Such a Beautiful blessing of a house 🙏🏻
Hi Jessie, thank you for the nice comment :) I'm a retired Ford Parts and Service Director. Now, just a CZcamsr :) -Todd
@@twHomeShow That’s awesome 👏🏻 also keep up the great reviews and vids brother 🙏🏻😊
Silly question for ya, how many pins are on that screw connector that comes out of the power supply/controller? I kinda want to try to convert a set of these to WLED but I I don't know what kind of chips they're using. The amount of pins might give it away. Thanks.
Nice house 😊
Thank you 🙋♂
Awesome video!! I'm mostly convinced to purchase after watching this... a few questions that may push me over edge... how's the brightness when at full ? Do you feel it's pretty good ? Also, now that you've had it for some time; any issues with them at all ?
Thanks Chad, I use these lights on a Smart plug Schedule that turns on every evening. Working awesome. The colors aren't very bright, almost like a glow from a campfire in color. But, the warm white as seen near the end of the video is useful enough for cozy useful lighting on a patio....brighter and more useful light for walking around and seeing peoples faces clearly. Hope this helps. -Todd
Great video thank you!.. side question what brand of rope light do you have? They look nice as well !
Thanks. Here's the screen Lights video: czcams.com/video/78bpKo5muAs/video.html
Do you have to use all 48ft? My house is about 1/8th the size of this house and 48 ft would be far too big for my small UK garden
Todd this was a very clear videos thanks. Do you think I’d be able to hang these in my bedroom?
Thanks 😊 You should be able to hang these anywhere.
Which model again? Looking at getting H7021 96 feet.
Cool video, but why did you leave the other LED strip on while filming!? lol
Thanks for the video! Have you had any issues with the power adapter? They stated that the adapter was not waterproof on Amazon when asked.
I plugged mine within a electric box with my other lights and a Smart plug.
My power supply lasted 7 months out in the elements. Should have bought a box to put it in.
Can it be used with Alexa or google zigbee. Smart home
Thanks, I needed to know how bright they were before ordering for my porch. Also, if I put these on a switched outlet, will it remember last setting? And, if I set a schedule, is it stored in my phone app? (If phone is off, will they still come on?) Thank You. BTW _GREAT_ video editing! 😘💖
Hi Nunya, YES, they remember the last setting. I'm not sure about the schedule question. I'm using a smart switch that handles the schedule and ALEXA "on-off" commands. Thanks for watching! -Todd
always hard to tell brightness from videos, so ill ask a question that you can hopefully answer... It looks like the illumination mode is very bright but the color modes are quite dim... We have an 8' wide bridge with 4' high railings between our house and parking lot. Would running one strip on the railings down each side be bright enough in the color modes to see where you are walking? We don't need it brightly illuminated, just enough to see where you are walking. We were hoping to just leave it in different color modes based off of the season and not have to change it to illumination mode. Thanks!
You're correct...when you change to the "colors" they are a dimmer light. But if you just want colored light with a nice glow, I think they will light your path just fine. Change to whites if you want it very bright on your path....they are also dimmable as well. Thank you and best of luck with your project :) -Todd
@@twHomeShow thanks so much! i think im going to get them, and if they don't work on my bridge, they will be repurposed to my deck and ill get some of the exorbitantly expensive "permanent" lights from govee to do the bridge.
This light control through wifi ?
What happens when half strand stays white and won’t respond? Have to unplug
Would have been better if you didn’t have your other green lights on in the background
I agree! Sorry that I just noticed at the end.... -Todd
Do you Know how long is from the first light bulb to the power connection?
About 32" of cord to the Govee power brick, then another 30 to 40" to the plug.
@@twHomeShow thank you. Is that counted in the advertised 48 inch?
How about winter does it last long??
One season, had 2 sets 😔
Can you connect two 96ft string light together
Yes they sell them on Amazon that length
Green Light destroyed the review foe me. Can't see anything.
These are trash for outdoor use. Bought two strands and ran them in series on my deck. After any rain I have to empty water out of every single bulb cover. Not for outdoor use. And for the price, pssh, fuck that, I'll get the same quality from an Amazon set.
