Chocolate Lion!!

- This had to happen, I have always wanted to sculpt one of those majestic animals!
This life size lion took me 5 days to craft out of chocolate and weight 180lb (the mane alone took me 10 hours).

Every time I see one of these creations I am just in awe. I think of how much time and trial and error there must have been to be able to get to this level of skill. I also think about just how satisfying it must be to see it come together at the end. I paint miniatures, so something smaller than a thumb and it can take me over ten hours, I couldn't imagine also sculpting it (funnily enough I didn't realize for the longest time you could use an airbrush on something other than cakes). Great job on this and all your other fantastical creations!

The diversity of an egg mold will never cease to amaze me.
Riiiight! I thought I was the only one. Next to his talent, the egg mold comes in at a close 2nd when looking at its diversity. I've yet to see a chocolate video where it hasn't been used. I'm sure there is one but, I haven't gotten through all of the videos yet but, so far.. not one.

Right!? Me and my husband make a game of counting how many eggs he uses each video and composting his scultures purely based on the number of eggs used. The 5 used on this Lion has set a record so far on the videos I've seen for number of eggs

Found him on his Netflix show and am completely fascinated. So many talents. Being able to visualize the idea and bring it into shape. Meanwhile, here I am, over here still mastering the art of writing legibly.
How can he NOT eat even a little of this chocolate while making it? I've watched this for 1 minute and already have a massive chocolate craving
Haha you get used to it! I worked at an ice cream shop for a while and you had to teach yourself to try everything less so that you don't mess up your health ;).

I have the feeling he mightve tried going with scar from the lion kings look or he could've just wanted to have a little fun and try to exaggate some of the details in the muscles and stuff
