No.. there is clearly written no exemption in CFA but you can obtain after cfa in caia

From my experience CFA is harder and more respected. And most CAIA students already have a CFA. Becuase of that, the CFA Insistute feels it has more weight and prestige, thus its not so keen on allowing CAIA students to get CFA L1 for free once you have CAIA
