- This video features a Carson Air Beechcraft Super King Air 350 (B300) and shows the engine start-up and the aircraft taxiing and taking off. The King Air is one of my favorite planes, and it is always great to see these impressive turboprop aircraft at CZNL, Nelson, British Columbia. This aircraft was operating as an air ambulance, picking up a patient and bringing them to the Kelowna International Airport YLW.

So fine this Air Craft .. Elegance !!

I believe a Beach King Air 350 was used to extradite Dylan Roof to Charleston, North Carolina. So I would say it's a pretty good, very secure, and well contained platform to ship criminals in for sure.
One of my favorites as well. Great video as always.
+James Cusson They are pretty cool indeed. Thanks a lot!
Awesome sound of the start up!!!!! Great vid man!!!!!!

So sorry for your loss, i can only imagine... i send u love and positive energy ❤️
I'm 53 and a medically retired NWA pilot myself but I am right there with you...my dad was 1 of the 1st 20 Fed Ex pilots and an incredible airman...he went on to be the top DC-10 instructor when he lost his medical and even rewrote a procedure for the 10 that McDonnell Douglass incorporated into the manual for it. Was very proud to be his son and I miss mine too and he's been gone 16yrs. Sorry for your loss buddy
Stunning, sharp and crisp footage with fantastic audio!! Beautiful work as always! Very much liked! :-D

+Ed Whisenant Thanks a lot. Ya, I think they both surprised each other a little bit!
By far one of my favorite aircraft
One of mine as well!
Was raised around a king air at a small airport in little rock she belly landed once and was repaired but i sat on one wing as my little brother sat on the other as it was being pulled out of the hangar.......i used to play with the propeller blades that seemed gigantic to me at the time
Loved it! :D

+Aviation Spotting Frankfurt Thanks very much, I appreciate it!
Cool video.
Thanks!
Looks good indeed!
+TheYottaTube Thanks!
Keeping the gear down keeps the aircraft more stable at slower speeds for short field takeoffs, in case anyone is wondering.
Excelente vídeo!
Thanks!
Excellent jet.👍
Nice video as I have always loved the King Air series of aircraft. The only thing that got me was the pilots not retracting the landing gear after takeoff. But hey, all pilots have different protocols when flying. Nice video!! 😊
Thanks very much! Yes, that was interesting to see the gear not being retracted for such a long time. It's the only time I've seen them leave it down that long.
I also love the king air series of aircraft the 350 being my personal favorite not only for the looks and performance but the fact it was also the plane used in Jurassic park
But my by far favorite aircraft would be the noaa Lockheed WP-3D Orion it’s just a sexy aircraft
@@unablesmilethegamer4323 si la película que veía cuando tenía 7 años y la sigo viendo de vez en cuando si mal no recuerdo fue usado en Jurassic park 3
Very gooooood
Wow very nice King air ! Nice :D
+Lolo VFR Thanks!
Soy argentino piloto privado que excelente video!! Uno de mis aviones preferidos que pedazo de macquina el 360. Saludos
excelente video!. .
Thanks!
I like turboprop aircrafts.
Me as well!
and legend has it that his gear remains down to this day......
King air is a great aircraft family!!
I agree, one impressive aircraft.
I love turboprops, I wish I could see more of those instead of simple piston props such as the Cessna 172 or Piper PA28
Beautiful plane.
I love the mighty King Air!
What a besuty fantastic Video liked
Nice Airplane

Love them as well!
Nice!! :D
+uniteddeltafan Thanks man!
Lovly flight
I'll just go and add this to my favorite 😍great capture!
+Jaheem Stuart Thanks very much!
Просто Красавчик!!!
Medical Flight, keep the gear down in case of a problem. Once clear and all systems check pull the gear up. Otherwise pull em up shortly after rotation and rate of climb established. Beautiful aircraft that handles great.
Must be Nelson, BC! I have a King Air 350 (poor lil'lie ole me, now only a sim) but I LOVE flying my B-350 all over the world! I have the older version from 2006, however I shall invest soon for this brand new 2020 version of Microsoft FSX. I have seen a video of this new product and I must say the graphics and sound are SUPERB! So much detail that such has to be live streamed upon use! Oh yes, as soon as this COVID mess becomes history, I shall work to get my credentials and chance to pilot an actual 350 -- count on it!
nothing like flying around with the gear down...
Sometimes I drive with my windows down.
Well if there's no more runway and one of the engines decide to take a lunch break there is some unwanted drag. And if at full gross things could get busy. The 350 is an awesome machine though!
@@nocalsteve I'm died 😹
Nice One :-)
+scotrail82 Thanks!
Nice! :)
+Fly with DMI ✈ Thanks!
So nice 👍...a dream
Love the King Air!
Ouch! Look how he/she bent over the nose gear (at 2:40) by standing on the right brake. Tap and release, buddy, to tighten the turn-don't hold it down! And please do remember to straighten the nose wheel while the airplane is still moving; don't stop with it still at maximum deflection. Good thing for you it was a Beechcraft...tough as old tree roots...
Those birds nearly got it... Great filming
+Darren Bennett Ya, it looks like they surprised them. Thanks!
Cooper's a professional he can handle himself.
Cooper is a true badass! 😀
pratt’s been making the same freakin engine for like 60 years and it still whoops ass every single day
Why are there so many people commenting about the gear being down? Are there any King Air B350 pilots on here, or any pilots at all for that matter, that could provide some insight into this? Before everyone jumps to conclusion about the gear, there are a few things to bare in mind; the first thing is that you don’t know the circumstances that were present inside the cockpit at the time - the pilot may have had an annunciation or engine abnormality in which case for most aircraft it can be beneficial to leave the gear in the down position in the event that you need to land on the remaining runway as well as the fact that in some aircraft having gear down can actually provide some aerodynamic stability. Another few points too is that it may have been part of the local procedures for that aerodrome, it could have been part of the company’s SOPs, or may have had something to do with the location that they were flying in I.e. the terrain. Please think before making thoughtless comments.
That thing gets moving quick
Nice footage...
Get that gear up man...
Was thinking the same thing
My uneducated guess is that maybe you keep them down longer during higher altitude takeoffs? Maybe. Just a guess. In case you gotta put her back down quickly and can't wait for the mechanism to lower the gear again.
Again, just a guess.
In aviation, everything has an explication.
Doubtful. Having the gear extended lowers your takeoff performance. That's why you usually retract it as soon as you establish positive rate of climb.
Maybe they were stuck and flying to a place that could repair them? ;)
A little late to get the gear up but never the less some really great footage - loved the startup!
+foxtrot789 Ya, I think the geese may have caught them off guard. Thanks very much!
Just a thing of beauty to me.
sweet !!!!!!!!! :)
Looks like he took his own sweet time to bring the gear up. If an engine had quit on him, he would have been well behind the curve to get things cleaned up.
Ya, that's the longest I've ever seen one of these air ambulances leave their gear down. Not sure why that happened this time.
wooooow, look at those birds
+Nelson Liang They looked to be a little too close for comfort this time. They're always around in the evening eating grass.
now to watch out for spinosaurus
Carol West "Cooper's a professional!"
Lol, Instituted Courser.
I always think of Jurassic park 3 every time I see this plane
iLoVE
"We cannot land on this island."
MUSIC IN MY EARS! that sound
Love the sound of these things firing up!
@@TheHDAviation sound of starting a B29s engines is much better....or try a EC 135 engine
Awesome camera work, I wonder if the sharp pitch up after take off happened as result of the pilot spotting the birds on the runway?
+Pilatuspcsix Thanks very much! Ya, I think they did it to avoid the geese at the end of the runway.
Bet night landing and takeoffs for someone who hasn't flown in there are very interesting.
Wonder why the guy had the landing gear down so long after take-off? Normally it's like 1. lift off 2. positive climb rate 3. gear up
+tera dynes their air plane....maybe they are trying to be a rebel
Normal practice to leave gear down in wet conditions to prevent brakes from freezing. There's brake heat but you're limited to how long you can use it. This isn't a clapped out Navajo where the second engine will take you to the crash site with gear down. Tons of power.
Better to watch the mountain ahead of you and climb, rather than worry about the landing gear.
birds on the runway. i like how he just noticed that right after rotation. "oh shit! birds!" is this not a part of the checklist? - a clear runway? "with a name like schmuckers, it has to be good!"
Very cool! What airport is this!
This was filmed at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.
