It seems you have boarded some 5 people and some luggage. Add the AC part also. Naturally you will get a reduced range. It happens with an ICE car too.
Electric cars are not for long distance journey. Currently most of the electric vehicles can be used only for a particular diameter of area, like within the city and not recommended for long distance. Only the kia ev6 has the range of 700km but not an affordable car

I have Tiago EV and have travelled 8000 KMS in the last 6 months .. have travelled 400 kms destinations I used to top up full AC charge and would use only 1 DC charge for return it gives a solid 230 Kms mileage for a single charge with AC

Conclusion- After spending huge money on ev vehicle. Need to sacrifice thrill , songs, ac and time to spend on our planned tourist place. Sir better you hire a vehicle then trying these type of long journey.. Even trips enjoyment will get destroyed by these type of experiments. For bachelors we can do anything either ev or even two wheeler. Family with older people need to give their comfort and peace on going somewhere.😊.

First of all short range EV vehicles are not really meant for long rides.. it is suitable only for city drive.. we should have that basic understanding before we buy any car it should be based on our needs and capability of the car.

Yes of-course, EVs has its own pros and cons, but how much we can tolerate the cons matters. Manufacturer should speak about the RANGE in fully loaded condition, otherwise that would be considered as a cheating. While marketing they are speaking about the boot space and seating capacity very proudly, but while speaking about the range, they are asking us to keep the car empty to get the range. 🤦♀
So here what I understand is, if I brought an EV, I should be always on tension about the charge level and charge stations and for an urgency travel it won't help. Another video I saw, that speaks about the charging time, availability of charging ports and power cuts during charging. Especially during weekends or during festival season I could not imagine.! Apart from that, for our weather conditions, possibility of battery-fire-catching is more. Moreover I am seeing driving on NH at 65 KMPH is a curse. These are the reasons, I am hesitating to go for EV.
