What I love about Milo is that he is young. We get to see a young man's journey basically from the moment they started working and hopefully to their retirement.
It brings back memories of seeing other channels literally grow with time.
Absolutely. We have all known dozens and dozens of brilliant young people who gave their all to earn a degree that's of no use to their local economy (or couldn't get that far with no safety net). I think that's why seeing a talented young person being allowed to show what they're capable of is extremely satisfying.

Edit: slowed it down real far and definitely saw some hallmarks of southwest ancient architecture! Rounded wall chamber going into the ground with a ladder and the holes on the side of the wall where wooden beams were once. Also the round offering bowl embedded into the ground. Idk if Milo knows about the lindenmeier site but it's fascinating and dates back to the Folsom era. (10,000 BCE)
My dad'd father would take them there in the 50s when you could just walk around to collect arrowheads - before it was fully realized HOW OLD the site was and how significant.

i'm trying to hastily google when the moon lines up at chimney rock (EDIT: last time was 2022, so we'll need another 18 yrs of milo) and the sand dagger lines up with the rock in chaco canyon as well.

I then found your longer form content and binged your entire Ancient Apocalypse breakdown, only to find out that the end that not only were you able to visit Karahan Tepe *yourself* afterwards, but then you're taking *another* trip to South America, which is just so incredibly cool. I'm excited to see you revive your old series and expand your new ones, especially since your new series involve you flying across the God dang globe.

A lot of people buy into conspiracy theories because it makes them feel smart, like they have secret knowledge. Learning from Milo teaches lesser known TRUTH. It gives her real knowledge that can make her feel smart and special. Good for you for encouraging healthy ways to deter conspiracy thinking.

The more I hear about the Peru trip, the more I wish I wasn't too broke for it. Would've been the best possible way to celebrate my 30th birthday, to go halfway across the world to see something this beautiful.

I've been having a lot of run-ins with conspiracy theorists over the last few years, and can't help but notice how that always seems to come in tandem with a dose of predatory narcissism,
Where they tried to convince you of what they believe without having all of the facts themselves, and if you try to retaliate, their only retort is to keep trying to bully you into agreeing with them...
I'm extremely grateful for the light you've been able to shed on these things, allowing people like me who have always preferred the scientific facts, despite perhaps having a lack of access to them, to have more at our disposal to firmly resist their misinformation and fear-mongering.
Although I only recently found out about your channel I've been binging these over the last few days,
And may have discovered some of my own passion for these fields in the process.

In my childhood i was a stone collector and I loved it and I new every single one but then I stopped but when I found your chanel 11 months ago I refund that love to archaeology and collecting things from nature. I found my old stone and now I work in a story that sells stone and fossils and I don't know how to thank you.
