  • The present video, Adenium Bonsai Innovative Root Training (with update ) shows the root training of an adenium bonsai tree in an innovative way. Adenium plant has a natural bonsai like look for its massive caudex and root structure. A little training makes this plant a perfect desert rose bonsai. This training includes root training, caudex training and canopy training. In the present video dot basecamp shows root training in a creative way.
    Here the adenium bonsai is first uprooted and the soil from the roots are washed out with water. Now the radial roots are seen to have a peculiar circular form. Judging the present shape of the desert rose plant I decide to train the roots in an innovative way shown in the present upload. I set the roots in position with a disk of thermocol. Then the roots of the adenium bonsai are placed on another disk of thermocol with a circular hole. This circular hole is the only way for the roots to grow vertically. All the provisions of horizontal growth of the roots are blocked with pieces of thermocol. I foresee the radial roots of this adenium bonsai will be standing on the pillars of vertical roots. It`s really going to be a masterpiece adenium bonsai. The 45 days` update shows that the desert rose bonsai tree has produced so many branches that predict a wide thick canopy essential for this adenium obesum bonsai. The bonsai plant is growing in the expected way. So this video may be considered as a tutorial on how to make adenium bonsai.

    • @dotbasecamp
      @dotbasecamp  Před 4 lety +1

      The end product of a bonsai will not come in 1-2 years. As for adenium you see the projected look in 2 years. This plant will be uprooted in next spring / summer. Then I will judge the roots and repot again for next stage training. When I get the final look I will repot it in final pot. It may take 4-5 years or more.

    Sir after how many days of seedlings we can put baby plants into direct sunlight...?and when to reporting...?

    • @dotbasecamp
      @dotbasecamp  Před 4 lety +1

      Don`t keep the baby plants whole day in direct sun light specially in summer days.. Keep in a place so that the plants receive morning sun at least after a week from germination and bright shade for the rest of the day. Gradually increase the amount of morning sun.
      First repot the baby plants after the plants grow 6 leaves ( 20-30 days ).
