if I have my name as 2nd or 3rd author in the research journal, should I write it first in ERAS as you wrote yours or the same as the sequence in the journal? and should I have put ., after the name?

Hey Malke, thanks for this great guide! So I've volunteered in a lab doing research for a month and also rotated in an icu for a month(only 2 weeks of this rotation were accepted as credits by my med school) both in the states. These all together caused an extension of 3 months of my graduation date. So I included that as an extension but not sure about it after this video...

First of all, I would like to thank you Dr. Malke Asaad for this wonderful and informative video. I highly appreciate what you are doing for applicants, and I am truly grateful for your work.
I wanted to ask you a question about the "interrupted/extended" section. Does semester repetition qualify under that section? And does it hurt your chances of matching?
I'm asking this question because I had to repeat my 3rd semester in a 6MD program (I'm an IMG in Europe) due to attendance. We were only allowed to have 1 absence for biochemistry (being late for more than 15 minutes counts as an absence) and I missed a class and was late on another for 13 minutes, so I was forced to repeat the year. I have since repeated that semester and continued through 2nd and 3rd year receiving excellent grades and I'm currently starting my first clinical year (4th year) in October. Currently preparing for my Step 1 exam, and I'm confident I can pass it on the first attempt.
I would appreciate it if I can get an answer on whether I should apply given my situation, or if I should consider applying to residency in a different place.

Thank you so much for this helpful video Dr. Assad. I want to ask you how to handle the volume, issue and pages part of a paper that has only been published online. For example: Int J Med Inform. 2022 Jun;162:104760. Epub 2022 Apr 4. In here, I think the volume would be 162, however I dont know if the issue is 104760, and certainly there is no pages. I would really appreciate your feedback on this parcticular case.

I've including various experiences from my work as an IMG ( I included my 3 years of working and separately I wrote about some individual patient experiences), volunteer at church, community. If I was a jury on a murder drug case where I learned some lessons about communication and teamwork, is that an experience that can be included? I'm applying for FM with a special interest in psych.
Hi, what to do if you have submitted abstracts that were then accepted for a conference and E-poster. Can I just list these as accepted abstracts under "Peer Reviewed Journal Articles/Abstracts (Other than Published)"? i.e. can you choose if you list the abstract as accepted to a conference vs that abstract that was accepted for an e-poster at the conference?

Hi, I have a quick question about publications. I'm currently working on protocols to be submitted for new prospective research. Can I write that under other articles, or since it has yet to be submitted, i cant?
If we did a thesis dissertation, as part of our medical degree. Would you put that in the other articles section? even if we presented them/ they were reviewed by faculty?
What about non-commented posters in national conferences that gets published in the annals of the conference ? Is that Abstract + Poster , just Abstract , or none ?

If I'm an IMG who graduated from the Philippines but I don't have any license to practice in the Philippines or not in any other country. So what should I do? Does that mean I can't fill out ERAS and eventually can't be matched?
I have published 2 case reports in Cureus journal. Which category should I mention it?
If mspe and transcript are delayed. Should I still apply on or before September 27th or should I wait 1 or 2 days and then apply. Mine got sent to eras on 21/9/23 so may only be fully uploaded on the 28th.
