Beautiful, I think I would maybe add an insert a cardboard inside to the back of the purse to make is sturdy.

There isn't a name for the fabric of purse #2. It's just a placement that I purchased from Home Goods. I would just go placemat hunting and then you will find the perfect one.

Chain loop strap can be added under top flap for a strap too:)
Exactly laurie stewart …I was going to add a chain on one of them but ran out of time. I'll be sure to make a purse with a chain in the future because it would be so darn cute!!!

Right, I'm thinking the same thing. Needs a lining and some sort of form, cardboard or something, these are great but too flexible for me.

the snap tabs should go toward center so they don't poke through in time.
Good tutorial...I was just thinking...Wouldn't it be easier to glue the ribbon on before you glue the sides together?...That way you can line it up and glue it while its flat instead of eyeballing it....

Hi denise cryer ...I'm not sure if E6000 will work or not. I guess it really depends on the type of placemat you use. If it is a fabric placemat I would say "No." If it is a plastic or rattan placemat I would say "yes." Have fun!
