The Outside Agency - Hours & Dreams From: Now This Is Crossbreed Vol. 10 Buy vinyl @ Triple Vision: goo.gl/WWhSC6 Buy digital @ TOA Store: goo.gl/fPulxv
Alright these are my two cents: I've been listening to this track for about 1000 times in one and a half years, but I never heard a song from TOA on this level of production. Hidden made a blog last year where he explained a bit how he composed his music and rehears it. I also do it, when I come across this track in my playlist. He stated: listen to one certain song, either you produce or just consume this certain track. and try to figure out the ambition behind it. I did this a lot of times and this advice is gold, because if you concentrate or are tired/drunk/whatever, you hear it differently and in this track you may hear sounds or samples you don't realize at this moment or in this status you are in. Couldn't agree more and I also use this technique when I work on my tracks. So yeah this composition is more on top than 98% of all artists in this world and I heard lots in many many different genres and styles. Get a go yourself, it is more than inspiring to still find tones, melodies, subsound's, etc. by listening to this song even over *A THOUSAND TIMES*. Imho: even Hans Zimmer can't match this validity of production.
I was thinking that i'm the one who listening this track 1000 times XD this speak from oblivion... I bought a vinyl to thanx TOA for their work, best in my collection.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!! this track is so AMAZING!!!!! just...beautiful in every single and possible way!! RESPECT to the true and indisputable kings of crossbreed!!
I do believe that every one of these genres, be it hardcore, splittercore, speedcore, extratone or crossbreed, drum and bass and breakcore all have their place in our world. I like all of those genres a great deal. None of it is junk in my humble opinion.
It's very hard to define a difference, because it's hard to define these genres in itself. The main difference though, is that crossbreed is more influenced by the drum and bass genre than indrustrial hardcore is. I find indusrial hardcore hard to define but a few keywords are: distortion, complexity, dark atmosphere and 9/10 just hardass hardcore. A good way of finding out yourself is by listening to the two genres. Artists you can look up for crossbreed are: The Outside Agency, Detest, Xaturate and DJIPE - you'll hear a lot of drum and bass influences in their songs. Artists I would recommend for industrial are N-Vitral (older songs), Innominate, I:Gor, Igneon System, Dither (has a few crossbreed songs too), Mindustries, Wavolizer, ... There a lot more though - both in artists, as in 'style' in the genres - and both genres are well worth exploring. Hope this helps and have a nice day!
really disappointed here, TOA is one of the few true original HC artists for many years, but whenever I hear the melody of this song, it feels like I'm listening to a Amnesys - Refly ripoff
I loved both this one and headphone wisdom as well, until I found out the melodies are taken from elsewhere. The music was used in some space documentary. I forgot the name of the composer, Hidden just added the kicks and snares. Big disappointment. These tracks are more remixes than original tracks. But nicely done. The contrast is great.
It doesn't get any better than this.
Kings of fucking crossbreed.
Totally agree!!
***** oh hell yeah it gets better, Detest - Shotgun
They invented Crossbreed!

You don't get fame for music like this. And not even critical appraisal. Only the appreciation of a select few
what a massive track omgg
Love it, the mix between the lovely melodious intro and the hard style of dnb
M.G. Stipdonk hardstyle is gay
@@Gipsz_Jakab hard style =/= hardstyle lol

Is this Crossbreed or Industrial Hardcore? Or something else? :p
+Victor Van Mol Crossbreed!
+Robbin Hardcore can you tell what is the differents of those two?
It's very hard to define a difference, because it's hard to define these genres in itself.

+Victor Van Mol detest crossbreed???!!!;!!!!!!!!?????
amazing intro but the kickdrum is a letdown, very dry

Refly sucks, i don't know why it got so much hype. Amnesys - System Crash (from the same release) rocks hard as fuck though
@@porksauce3465 I like all the tracks on that release, but I have to agree Refly is the lesser one.
Le niveau de prod est juste complètement au dessus du lot niveau Indus
