OMGosh this is so pretty and gives the room so much warmth - might be cute to take a lacy piece of ribbon, the color of the vases, make a fancy bow w/ long or short cascades to place in the center where the 2 set of lights connect...just a thought - you have great taste.

Why would people think these lights are a fire hazard? Lights like these are hung on dry trees and houses around the world. Lights like these don't get warm like they used to and I'm sure she doesn't leave them on 24/7. Such a romantic look!!
Beautiful idea! I have no headboard so am going to do this. I think I will put a large silk flower or bow the same color as my comforter (Aqua) on/above the spot where the plugs connect in the middle. Thanks for this great idea.

Did this in my bedroom, even before I saw this video. The lights look great when they're lit, but when they're off, it looks cheap and tacky. You know how Xmas decorations on front lawns look during the daytime? That's what this looks like when they're off. It's just not a pretty sight. We removed them.
Some people work during the day and only really get to see bedroom when cleaning on the weekend or at night. So this would work for even picky people with daytime work hours.

I was thinking that since you love pink so much, what if you painted a very soft soft color on the wall (nothing too bright) or even a soft soft creme. I have a head board, but I have been looking at different ways to use lights in my bedroom. This is a great idea to use them. I am defiantly going to strings the lights like this. I thought putting up lights in my bedroom would be a good option instead of a night light. I sleep with an eye mask, so they will not bother me during the night. I have to get up during the night a lot so this is really a good idea.
