Criticism of Revival brought Shady back. Eminem asked everyone by name to bring smoke or STFU and remind everybody he's still a monster.

no, slim shady is the consequence of the shadow. in the video there is Eminem himself, the shadow which follows Eminem lately, which is the critics and the backlash and the hate, and in the end when Em and the Shadow merges, resulted in Slim Shady. Slim shady steps on revival because revival is the exact opposite of Slim Shady. Same as how in reality the critics 'stepped' over revival "oh, eminem can't rap without being angry and on drugs (slim shady)". And Em was like, fuck it, alright then. Only this time without the drugs. 'well if you want Shady this is what i'll give ya' Same happened when Eminem first started, he mentions it himself, people were shitting on him then he stumbled onto something new, meaning Slim Shady, and blew up. Spread the love and awareness, people don't realize how dope the concept is.

Also the spirit is Slim Shady, Eminems' past that he runs from until he merged to make him invincible as Marshall Mathers now.
His album "Revival" was shit on by certain people, so this album, Kamikaze, he went at everyone
Petty people who's ship has sailed, jealous they can't drop an album better than his career worst! I actually don't hate Revival at all and I took a long break from Em from maybe '03 to '18. It was good to come back to a catalog of killer songs!

Suggestion, even if you only check his rap songs, the artist Ren blew up and has a HUGE following. If you're down with checking him out, I guarantee you'll get subs from it. Plus, he lets reactors use his songs, once you're monetized... if you get a copyright strike from one of his, his team will make it go away!
HMU if you want me to give you a list of his hip-hop songs (some are kinda odd, UK artist). But he IS good. Or, if you're down with other music genres, check out any of his songs... there's only a couple where order matters.

Just stumbled onto your channel. If your checking out some Em it would be worth checking out the song Higher. Video version. Probably the most syllable heavy song and Alfreds theme is by far the most bar heavy. Im talking the whole song. Not just bars but schemes for days. Revival is also worth checking out. People said that album was trash due to herd mentality. Theres plenty of dope tracks on that album that dont get reacted to that much. He also does 2 songs with nicki minaj i cant remember the names but they both kill it.
