lol
That is one BEAUTIFUL bike. Holy crap. (Just pure looks-wise).
GamingWillis got mine through rei here in the states. It is an all around shredder 🤘
I think Ghost are some of the best looking bikes.
Very nice bike!
In Italy nobody consider this bike, but actually looks better than others big name’s bike.
I have the 27.5 model of this bike and it’s a shredder no doubt. Not to mention the bike is nice on the eyes
Cool bike. Less fancy and very basic and simple. It makes it more cool that way.
Tech question: Considering the rolling resistance I wonder if tires with knobs make sense for urban DH?
If I’m right the brakes levers are carbon too
anthony rosso and derallier cage
X01 got aluminium cage
@Costa del Artlepoolthink of the gains of a carbon rider
No the guide r don’t have carbon leavers and it’s unlikely he switched them with ultimate leavers
Very nice bike 👍🏻
Nice not biased blinged etc. bike.
Sick dude
I just got my first FS bike just last month and it's a Ghost Kato FS 3.7, which in USA is sold by REI. One interesting thing about the US version is that they've made it into a 1x drivetrain instead of the 2x that is shown as "factory" by Ghost for that model. The weather and trail conditions in my area are such that I have yet to actually ride the bike and it's killing me to see it sit in my living room waiting.
Get it out! Is the weather really that bad?
@@JMJC1 Riding wet is seriously not okay here. We have a very low clay content in the soil so wet trails are a no go.
New dream bike
When do you know when you bottomed out your coil shock?
My bike has air suspensions and I'm planning to buy a dh bike with coil shock.
Is there anything that i should know before making this transition between shocks?
(I have an enduro bike)
luca dan naw. Coil is bomb proof and also easier to replace / adjust.
I’ve got a bike from ghost. The Kato Fs7 and it’s served me well. Oddly capable on everything for being a short travel 27.5 with very xc geometry
I've got the takana 7, takes a lot of abuse and keeps working well
I got the ghost scrow condor r29
nice bike
The X0 Crank and the levers
Nice bike
Good check-in bike is incredibil maquinari for boi 👏👌✌️👍👋🤣🤘📹💯💯🚴
This is M- Medium ? frame?
Nice bike. Interesting to see the range of travel the racers use at these events but it seems the shorter travel formula and more trail bike geo works for him there.
Unique shade of orange too.
BTW Neil, that bike is pronounced SLAMMER X
Why use trail tires and not xc tire or slicks? You know, for URBAN
#askGMBNtech How is Slavik after his crash in Valparaiso?
Where can I watch 4cross?
back in the 90s..
🤔 How come all the riders running offroad tires and no one went with more street optimized rubber for street/city racing?!
#askGMBNtech - What good are street tires if even *racers* opt for offroad rubber in a *competition?!*
You need the knobs for grip on stair.
They need to come up with a BMX / off-road hybrid or a good year mtr off road tire with the lugs outside at a wider and a closer spacing on the inside for faster to link.
@@mountainlessmtb9940 So basically a semi slick.
Looks up Schwalbe Magic Mary SS or Maxxis Minion SS
You need big knobs on the inside to get grip on stairs though.
Thing is there are also some dirt patches along the course so bigger chance of slipping with a semi slick there.
Not semi slick just look at good year mtr tire ( not a bike tire) purpose built tires for this type of race will happen. Maybe a multiple hardness type of deal where the center tread still has bite but a little harder compound than the outside lugs. And maybe a closer spacing on the inside than outside or tread design manipulation like in the automotive world is what I mean. All of the car tire companies getting into this and with the popularity of this urban downhill you'll start seeing this happening. Or not
Why they are using such aggresive enduro tires for urban downhill?
What does SL stand for??
SLow.
Brake levers are carbon too
#askGMBN Could you do some videos on 4X and dual slalom racing? The bikes, the racing, the skills needed.
Brake levers & cranks are carbon :)
Kurtis and rear mech cage
@@stevenjalopnik1342 Na I actually googled it and its not on the DH version of it, I think it is on the Eagle XO version but in this case its alloy
Kurtis oh damn there you go
Carbon levers and cranks
1.5mm rear travel 🤔
I hope one day I can buy that too, that's one of my dreams trail bikes. anyone there even if it's old for free I'll be very happy...:-}
