Thanks for the SVR videos!!! I've been a BMW fan and been thinking about getting into the range rover sport models. SVR has alot of depreciation left. Keep up the good work with the channel. Don't worry about the negative comments on the channel. Also, keep up the good work with the explanations of the financials behind these vehicles (the same with the huracan, GT3RS, and now the SVR).
Took 7 minutes to actually get to the content. The entire clip is 9 minutes....

Mate you've owned this for just 2 months, admitted it was your dream car but then put it up for sale because strangers on CZcams who you've never met don't like the car. It must cost you an absolute fortune in finance and insurance having to change cars every 5 minutes. It just doesn't make sense.

There’s no way that an SVR costs £30k a year! What a load of rubbish. First year fair enough there’s the upfront deposit but after that maybe £4-5k a year. Fuel, tyres, 1 service a year..
You literally had an SVR, complained it was expensive, binned it off, got another SVR, complained about it being expensive and will inevitably bin it off in < 3 months. Most of us subscribe for track content, even by the usual CZcams cycle of buy, wrap, exhaust and sell this is truly dreadful content

The real world question is what is the reliability when the warranty ends and what are the bills of fixing one
Had it a couple of months? He bought it just before Chrimbo. Unless I missed it they are giving totals for the costs as if they were new into any car. The real way of calculating the cost of ownership of this type of vehicle is to look at the extra costs they have over and above what they had been spending before. So fuel and insurance should be looked at the additional cost over what his normal car would have cost him.

Arch, good call on the SVR. But don't forget that utter madness going on in the comments is not an insubstantial part of the entertainment value of your channel. This could of been so much better. Svr review, then you’re in a Porsche. Basing cost of ownership including finance as opposed to actual running and daily costs. Would of loved to of seen more of the svr, driving it, parking it, attention you get etc. but definitely got me interested in the channel.
He sold that SVR quicker than I've had the time to watch his videos of the mods he has done on it......

My God its fast ,, upon launch the front wheels nearly lift up and the power don't run out ,, he cruising 2 full tanks a day local drive with ease,, lovely motor very expensive screams power and class but not for me ,, too expensive for my liking especially the fuel cost ,,, no doubt What a machine !!

Be honest Archie; you bought your dream car and realised Landrovers are poorly built, common and certainly not value for money. We’ve all made that mistake; We live and learn.
Mine was a 2007 ls460l fully loaded...silver on silver 19 inch stock rins...a stunning beauty....but i didnt have a house...and one yr i spent 6k fixing the car and got really really mad....i sold the dang car and worked a side job for 2 yrs and bought ny current town house...year i can sleep in that....lol.....

Can you do another video of what it actually costs you and your business, with tax write offs , depreciation write offs etc? Would genuinely be interesting and help out a bunch of the self employed viewers.
if you have your own business getting a range rover svr isn't going to help. There are better cars economy wise. The running costs are not worth it, you could have a Ferrari or Lambo for cheaper than an SVR. And if you have a business and you write off too much the taxman will come looking into your business and nobody wants that.
@@leonhenry4861 Something gives me the impression you don't know what you're talking about. Why would you assume I would pick a car based off its fuel economy? And if you bought a car solely 100% for business for say £100,000 and 1 year later you sell it for £80,000, you should be able to reclaim the full £20,000 depreciation out of your tax. Why wouldn't that be allowed? It's a business expense.

Now i'm not speaking for the whole country but I live in Essex and the people who have those cars are dodgy business men or footballers like Andy Carrol level. Anybody asking somebody else to do a video about their tax write offs clearly is a low level business man/women or you wouldn't ask because you'd know that the tax man is not going to write off this expensive machine. It's a one way ticket to having HMRC come knocking on your do and lifting up your floor boards. So yes i do know what i'm talking about.

You can keep your car. I’m happy with my Toyota Camry 2014. Bought it off from someone for $7,000 in 2017 and I never have any issue. That’s a bargain I’m happy with mate.
