I'm a grandma as well. Im 55 and I try to cook on a Sunday, just so I have a few leftovers for the work week. As for after work? Usually a pizza or I pick something up if I'm craving a particular restaurant. I love watching you Sarah!
BTW- I've been to Utah. Personally I feel it's the most beautiful state ever! I, too, am a Midwest girl. From Wisconsin, but moved up to Minnesota 10 years ago.

Girl you made me laugh so much in this video starting with Shout, Zout and Bout and wondering who requested the report on prepackaged salads lol lol 💕💕

The comment you made about that girl that’s 21 and you said that y’all are living different lives, I feel that!! I’m younger without kids but In a lot of ways you help me set goals for myself and aspire for more/better. So that’s why I stay!! You’re also hilarious and I love the vibes.

For the wedges, if you want that soft inside and the crunchy outside from roasting, then you need to par-boil the wedges first then toss them in oil and your seasonings and they'll be good to go!
I also think you be great on a Podcast! I would like to hear it deep! Thanks again for all you do! I find you inspiring and I’m gonna be 50! So for me it’s more the person and their perspective than their age.
Yessss, time is going by so quickly! I found that once I started my "real job" a year ago and started consistently working M-TH, time has slipped by freakishly fast. It's kind of spooky...

Good morning, Sarah ❤❤ In my mind, I cook dinner every night but in real life it's about 3-4 nights a week. 😅 I loved the clip of you and Nahla showing your fits. It's no doubt you guys have a special bond 💓
I’m in Utah and have been following you for YEARS! Us mountain time people are barely surviving lmao. Time change is crazy… BUTTTT def come to SLC explore the mountains, head south to the national parks… I bet the kiddos would love it.
We’ve got a 2 year old and an 11 year old, we have more “convenience” meals maybe 1-2 nights a week and leftover night at least 1 night. I wfh so I can prep during the day which is super helpful. If it was just my 2 year old trust I would not be cooking as much 🤣 he lives on yogurt pouches, blueberries and cheese

Giirrrl I’m going to need a step by step on the broccoli!! For the potatoes, boil them and then putting them in a bowl stir them around to “rough them up” they will get a starchy outer layer that should crisp up! :)
Ok I'm watching and had to say this real quick before the real comment lol USE the power dawn dish wash, the one in the spray bottle to remove any stains. I'm not sure if it will work on your shirt now because you used other products but, I use power dawn dish wash on our clothes (specially my light blue jean jacket collar that always has make up stains) I use it if the dog throws up on the carpet, I used it on curtains, shoes, purses and luch boxes lol basically I used it everywhere and it WORKS!
I love Niyla's love for you...That's right shut them critics right on down...so sad that someone would complain on how you dress...Great job on teaching your daughter self love and humbleness!!! P.S. You're looking good with the weight loss!!!
I have three kids 19, 17 & 15. We lost our house in a storm so we're living with my in laws. When my daughter is home from college there are 7 of us here for dinner (two are teenage boys who eat like starving grown men about 173637382928272 times a day) I cook 6 nights a week. No matter what. We are a VERY busy family baseball, violin, UN club, soccer, e-sports, orchestra blah blah blah lol I HATE cooking BUT I don't want us eating out/fast food all the time like I did growing up. I shop once a week and meal plan 8 days at a time. It DEFINITELY saves us money. We also have a huge garden and chickens because I don't like paying so much for something I can grow myself. I'm stubborn. I do insist that every Friday night I get the night off from cooking. I also insist on Tacos and asada fries for dinner every Friday or I'll go on strike. 😊
Mountain time: you should def visit western Montana (though I’m a bit biased 😂), the Rocky Mountains are amazing! You can ski in the winter and hike in the summer. ❤

Your fashion, makeup, bags, yo stylo in whole is the shiznit! I’d love to visit Chicago so I could bump into you at a target or a coffee shop! 🎉😂❤ I even wear Glamnetic nails bc you showed me how good they were!!! All I’m trying to say here is that I LOVE YOU! I love Nathaly too and I am much much older than her! Great videos and very mature for her age. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who enjoys her that is around my age!
And yes, sprinkle cheese on top and then freeze it. If you wait to put cheese on right before you stick it in the oven, the cheese will melt quicker than the pasta will unfreeze, and it'll make the cheese burn before you're ready to take it out of the oven. Hope that helps!
Thank you for sharing the video. Love it! I work from home and am considering joining an exercise class to motivate myself to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people. Besitos, Yana!
Sam’s club has a members mark version of lactaid that I buy online and have shipped to my house and it works so well and is WAY cheaper! I just started doing fiber powder so I’m hoping it makes a difference soon 😂
I cook 2 days worth of food for my family of 4. On day 2 I will do something different with the prepped ingredients just to change it up and then the next day I start over. I hate cooking so it's my way of making it bearable during the week. I absolutely love your videos I'm always so invested! If you had a meet and greet in Texas I'd fight to go to it ❤
I live in the suburbs of Chicago lol so I enjoy watching you due to learning different places you visit and it gives me ideas. Like I have never been to the Market store. Plus, I feel like I can relate to you with our childhood stuff and being half white half Mexicn .
I used to cook every day except Saturday and Sunday now I started meal prepping dinner on Sundays for 4 days same meal super simple so I only cook Fridays and Sunday for meal prep, and eat out Saturday Sunday. Believe it or not it’s actually saved me a ton of money. It’s just me and my boyfriend and he rotates shifts so when he is on nights since I work from home I don’t have the time to cook dinner around 3pm. I’m gonna try to start actually making a recipe from a cookbook I want to make on Saturdays so that way we can go down to eating out once a week and have a little more variety. Most of the time during the week people are so busy with schedules they don’t even realize you can really do a simple meal prep and buy your time back.
I do my potato wedges with a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, chicken broth & pimenta (the Portuguese red pepper paste) I put them in a glass Pyrex and cover them for the first while so they get nice and juicy and flavourful on the inside& then I take the aluminum off and let it bake until the liquid is evaporated and they get a bit crispy on the outside 10/10 *chefs kiss*
Yes. We cook everyday.. Both my partner and myself cook homemade all the time... its tiring! But i did take meal planning and making a weekly menu helps alot! We maybe eat out 2 or 3 times a month
So interesting hearing you talk about Kendall Rae, she was initially the girl who introduced me to your channel. I am so so glad she did when you went as you've been one of my favorite CZcamsrs since.
Oh yeah! Cooking daily with whole foods is my thing! I personally try to stay away as much as I can from processed food and couldn't do it any different. 😅 French cooking tip: To make fantastic crispy golden homemade fries, baby potatoes or wedges, broil them until you see foam forming on top. Remove them, drain moisture on a cloth (the longest the better - thats the secret), then bake at 450°F with some oil for about 30 minutes, flipping halfway. ✨
Hey there, couple questions. Are you going to be giving weight-loss updates soon since you’ve been on the medicine? Also, I’ve noticed that you have an insane amount of energy lately. Is that from the medicine or just from how you’re eating now? I am really back-and-forth on taking the medicine myself, and was just wanting to hear like an update to see how you’re dealing with it since you are what I consider a very trusted source.
Hi Sarah, you need a laundry stick. Its called Buncha Farmers laundry stick. I was introduced to this product years ago and have put tons of friends and family on to it. This takes out everything. Tar, pen, lipstick, grease stains, vomit stains, ketchup, sharpie marker. Try it on your top with make up
Sarah, have you checked Walgreens for your vitamins? Typically they have B1G1 50% off and they always have coupons you can stack on top of those deals!
Hi, I cook breakfast and dinner almost every day with rarely any packaged or processed food. I find it quicker and easier to prepare meals using whole foods. Not to sound preachy but I don’t like eating food with so many additives and I do not want my kids to suffer health issues later in life because of the food I gave them. That is one too many guilt issues I don’t need in my life. We do eat out occasionally but not fast food.
I used to work in downtown Minneapolis which is home to the Target HQ. The flagship store was steps from my office and they always piloted new products and brands there. It was literally a dream. I spent my entite lunch hour there on many occasions. I've since moved to Chicago and live next to a mini Target. Literally trash. Target hasn't been the same since
use Dawn dish soap and scrub/rub the fabric together! i had the same thing happen to me with makeup getting on my sweatshirt and it worked! repeat the process until it’s all gone
I do the same! Dinner is done and ready to eat when my sons get home from school. My youngest is a type 1 diabetic so he needs to eat as soon as he gets home or the snacking messes him all up.
For your pasta bakes in the freezer, put the cheese on top before you freeze it! Bake it covered and then take the foil off about 15 minutes to brown it up!
Hey Sara! I’m a new homeowner and I was checking out your kitchen backsplash. Looks gorgeous! Do you have any videos where you do tour and possibly talk about it? I feel like I remember one but I can’t find it.
I have no kids, and a regular job, and I love watching you. It's true you don't need much in common with the person. ^+^ I staid for the vibes as well!
Mountain Standard Time zone here! Albuquerque, NM. Should you visit here? Um…high crime, BUT our Balloon Fiesta in October is nothing like you’ve ever seen or experienced! 😮
I have 7 year old twin boys with (separate) special needs. My husband became partially unemployed a year ago, And was home all the time. Previously I was cooking basic stuff for my boys and then my own dinner. But with my husband home all the time, we started whole family meals. The boys adapted much better than I thought. Now that he's back to work full time, I'm cooking more basic meals when he's at work (leaving him the extra for the next night dinner) and cook more detailed meals on the weekends. Hope that makes sense... I cook every night.
You may have tried this already but on the concealer stain try pouring hydrogen peroxide, then dawn dish soap, and scrub with a brush. Let sit for at least 20 mins if not over night then wash as usual. Hopefully it works for you!
Girl, I love wearing green too lol If I'm not in black, I'm in green.. unless it's Thursday, then I wear red to support my teachers union❤ Also my husband's name in my phone is "Hubby💜" For awhile it was "butthead" because he is my butthead lmao and back in high school it was his first and middle name!
Hey Sarah 👋 Loved this vlog!!! My kids also cannot identify their hunger either….they give me whiplash. Lol. I would love freezer crockpot and instant pot meals; I would add cheese once in the pot. You and Nahla looked so cute!! So glad you have a new friend…I need to find a friend too. It’s so difficult when you work from home. Have a fabulous week!!!! Thanks for spending the last 30-40 min with me. Bye 👋
my favorite stain remover: Dawn!!! has gotten out many a pen stain, dirt stain, tire track stain. It does it all! if Dawn can't do it, then you're screwed. Might need to wash a few times, but hope this helps!!!
For stomach bugs with my kids I’ve been using activated charcoal with yogurt I just open the capsule and mix it in it’s been the best and only thing that works for us😊 it also works for hangovers I don’t drink but I herd it does the same effect it coats your stomach and makes you poop out all the bad stuff
I don’t have a lot of related things with you, but we’re about the same age, love to read and you’re just fun to watch/listen to. My boyfriend knows who I’m talking about if I refer to something you said cause I just say, “oh yeah, Sarah mentioned that on her vlog.” 😄
Slice your potato wedges then microwave them for 8minutes then bake at 375 for about 35 mins with oil and seasoning. If you toss them with corn flour as well they will be crispy.

Try it on your top with make up
The fit is fitting!
Mountain Standard Time in the house 🙋🏽♀️ from Arizona!! Been watching you since the beginning!
In regard to potato wedges, try looking up how to cook them in the air fryer. They turn out crispy on the outside and soft inside.
I have no kids, and a regular job, and I love watching you. It's true you don't need much in common with the person. ^+^ I staid for the vibes as well!
The tide pens are normally near the registers. Try spraying it with dawn power wash. I use it for everything.
Hi Sarah! Try hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for the stain. I have tried it before but not for makeup its worth a try lol.❤
Sarahhhhhh💖💖💖💖 Foundation Removal: baking soda, dawn dish soap, water. Has worked for me. Than I do oxyclean gel
Girl, I love wearing green too lol If I'm not in black, I'm in green.. unless it's Thursday, then I wear red to support my teachers union❤
Also my husband's name in my phone is "Hubby💜" For awhile it was "butthead" because he is my butthead lmao and back in high school it was his first and middle name!
Bye 👋
You look great!
my favorite stain remover: Dawn!!! has gotten out many a pen stain, dirt stain, tire track stain.
