She's in a foster home and she does not make that noise anymore, but that was just her notifying me that she doesn't like the fact that I'm talking. I have a few hamsters that do that.

oh bless her heart....i rescued a hamster many years ago from Facebook who apparently bit and *hissed* all the time as i was told.... got him home and he came with a huge cage so removed the hay and gave him a hide as he had nothing but hay and yes he was a talker just like Lydia there, it made many memories of him come flooding back he was called rocky and he was such a good hamster from day one never bitten just a talker. would u do a video on vocal hamsters as i never new about it until i had rocky (had many since i was 16 now 40 lol hammys for years but never had one vocal) cos i think it would benefit people as many maybe scared of them etc. and so good to have u back xx
U do a almost amazing rescue well done to u a big pat in the bk a big massive cuddle to u. Ure amazing and with. Wot u do for these little cuties their sooo beautifull good job well done to u. Ure awesome munchy we appreciate u Nd wot u do to house those little furrys byeeee xxxx and hugs xx

I’m still trying to fix what’s happened to the other hamster I rescued. He was accidentally lost and attacked by cats. He’s now terrified of anyone and anything. So sad. Poor guy. Take care munchie!
my female syrian screamed like that at the vet lol my blind male syrian sounded like a squeaky toy any time i had to pick him up, they can be so dramatic 😂
I forget not many people have had that experience to hear a talker since we taken in so many at the rescue, it's almost second nature to me to hear someone complain like Lydia does, lol. We've had several. If they're talking and are not cowering, they are clearly chattering with you about their displeasures. However if they talk like that and are flipping over on their backs, they're scared and engagement should be stopped or to go slower. May make a video about talkers.

I need help in deciding if I want a hamster or not. Which ones tunnel the most? Are there videos detailing the complete setup and cleaning of a cage? What’s the daily care routine? I’m an empty nester that wants companionship but still be able to leave for a night without hiring a pet sitter.
