- After 8 years at Rancho DeMayo, we are moving our homestead to Montana. This has been an amazing journey. We met some amazing people and learned a lot along the way, but it's time for a new adventure. Join us on our last day as we say goodbye to our wonderful homestead.

So glad we found your channel We are on a small homestead and started our channel and having fun learning. We've been gardening here in central Texas for over 30 years and wanted to share with others the things we've learned. We just welcomed our first grandchild into the world and have been busy with all sorts of projects down here waiting for the snow to melt. We are happy to say the construction is underway again! We just got back from a quick trip up to the new homestead & it’s exciting to see the work has begun again. More videos to come. Thanks for sticking with us!!

I just found your channel and will follow to see how you guys do here in Montana! I moved from Washington 15 years ago after teaching personal protection and working in Law Enforcement there! It's a laid back state and not to radical on either side of the isle so to speak! I live in central Montana and the weather right now is -15 for the next week so bundle up! Happy travels my friend's!

New sub here! We're in Oklahoma and we've purchased acreage outside Missoula, with the intent of building our retirement home. We've been through two rounds of bidding on successively cheaper house builds and we're now looking at barndos. Crazy expensive up there! I found you searching for barndos in MT and here we are. Starting with this video we're going to watch them all as you put yours together. Can't wait to start watching! Oh - we're gardeners and canners and enjoy making our own stuff so you guys are a real treat!

Congratulations on your move to Montana! As someone who also moved from SoCal a few years ago up here, one thing I'm learning is to be ready to go on projects once the ground starts to thaw because the outdoor working/growing season is so much shorter up here, especially when you can't really get any plants into the ground until Memorial Day without taking a chance on a late snow or freeze. The long winters are a good time to get your plans all together for the next spring, and even a small greenhouse will be a good investment for getting plants for the garden started. Looking forward to following your adventures as you get your place set up!!
