Truman moved me by The Spirit to Join The Restored Church.
All I wish is to thank his beloved wife

An absolutely classic, magisterial talk. I love this beloved scholar disciple. Truman G. Madsen never sold us out, never soiled us with liberalism or secularism. He and Stephen R. Covey were part of a golden age of scholarship enjoined with spiritual experience. I believe that era is largely passed.

Tell me more about how one can become “soiled with liberalism or secularism” or what it would look like to soil another with the same.

@@cmitc01 Chris, good brother: I think I’ve said enough. You wish more lore? I suggest do own searching. Cheers fellow traveler on rough road! Together we will traverse uneven landscape and fearful hinterlands! Be blessed there. 🙏🏽💛

Talk starts at 2:46 after they get done stroking Truman's ego. Good talk though!

True enough, though lots of speakers would like to have a really short intro. Long ones are uncomfortable for the speaker and whether I'm in the audience, or am the speaker, i become impatient with it or embarrassed by it

Agreed, in part. Brother Madsen is far beyond the shallow who need or desire any stroking of ego. Such "preface" as given before Madsen's wisdom, is totally the doing of lessor thinking folk.

He was a very humble person.

All do their best. Do we need to criticize people or can we do and be better?
