Holy smokes, hey MrBeast!
Make sure to let em pin the comment.

Well I watched this video at least. Thanks for making this. It was wonderful to get a peek at their lives. They are an inspiration.

Legend indeed 🙌
WOOOOO MR. BEAST WITHOUT THE S!!!
Mr beat…
Thank you very much for this wonderful video. It was a wonderful day when we met in this club in Zaatari camp.
I hope that this video will be the focus of everyone's attention and help these children and youth to overcome the difficulties.
It was a truly wonderful day for us, as well. Thank you for taking the time to comment Fadi!
Make some videos! I subscribed.
Maybe you can upload CZcams videos about Tae Kwon Do :)
Love and strength to you and your families and friends.
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 Thank you
the phrase "two gardens. one vegetable, one kinder" is both sweet and hilarious at the same time
As South Korean, I had no idea that our government was doing something like this. That is so cool. Kudos to the gov and the couple!
Indeed. It is surprising how much governments spend on all kinds of methods to get influence in the world, when something comparably small which is essentially an act of kindness can present a nation from the most favorable side. This also reminds me of what an Ukrainian literature professor said about the wasted opportunity to present Ukraine as a cultural nation before the Russian invasion. Books and movies might seem insignificant especially in comparison to US pop culture, but they allow to present one's identity and define it for an audience.
I ignore your videos for a while sometimes.
I think I almost cry or do cry a little by the end of almost every single one. I've learned to really appreciate it, no other media leaves me in the same place afterwards. But it means that I save them for when I know I will be most receptive to the story and vulnerable.
What you make is a special kind of art. I dunno what to call it.
Evan's videos are stories, moments and importantly the connections of people throughout all of time. I think unlike news or tales and legends, it's not cherry picked and there is no agenda behind them other than the story being told.
There always heart and humanity at the centre of every tale. As for what to call it, simple... this is Rare Earth.
We find that usually our videos take about 2-3 years before they get their true viewership. They're hard to watch, and hard to digest.
I'm happy when you visit, how you visit, on your own time and desire. Appreciate you!
It took me around a month to work up the courage to watch the FGM episode. You know from the title it's going to be a rough ride, and of course it was, but it's also a story that needed telling.
That is exactly how I feel! Evan tells stories that just touch me in a way no other videos do and with such consistency too. I remember when I first started watching the channel I wanted to binge it to get to the latest videos (there were 50ish rare earth videos) but then had to drop it because I'd be sobbing and be so lost in thought for a few days.
I hope he keeps making these videos. These stories are meant to be heard.
I'll join your comment. These videos are a special mix of love, hope, and empathy that you can't find anywhere else.
Writing this as my tears dry after watching this video.
Must be incredible to be popular half way across the world in such a unique context!
Props to this couple, what they are doing there is so wholesome
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 Bro thats funny, I hope that you can visit your fans someday
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 That was a joke dude, and come on, the thought of you in Indonesia rolling up to a group of gay dudes all screaming like teenage girls and handing out autographs doesn't tickles you even a little bit?
Lovely message. This made me smile and feel warm at heart. I get emotional just thinking about how much these Syrians go through, just to get a sense of a normal life. Thank you for sharing.
Every rare earth video leaves me either warm and fuzzy or very thoughtful
To all the refugees and the taekwondo club, kudos from Europe. I have learnt it is more important who you're with than where you are. You have just confirmed that again. May joy and peace be with you.
For as much as we (rightly) bash the modern internet and all its nonsense, it’s really important to remember how much of an impact a connection to the outside world can have. I think this demonstrates that perfectly.
So very true
Amen! 🙏🏻🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
for as much damage as it's doing, and as unprepared our societies are for the consequences of it, I wouldn't trade it away for anything.
We're connected like never before, and it is doing amazing things
You have to understand that tech is just a tool. Tools can be used to build or they can be used to destroy. Sadly there are many that use it destructively..
Agreed. Bo Burham was right to be cautious about the negative effects of the internet. Everyone should be made clear about the danger of misinformation. However, we're all still here because it's the single most useful and impactful change to our life.
This video really strikes me to my core. I lived in Syria before the war and it's soul-crushing to see people still living with the consequences of something they have no control over, that I was fortunate enough to have escaped from over a decade ago. To think that people I went to school with in the 2nd grade have had to endure displacement, death, and destruction while I was able to go on to live a relatively normal life is incomprehensible and infuriating. it just makes no sense to me, why the kids I played marbles and soccer with have been condemned to such a bleak existence when I wasn't. Their intentions, thoughts, and cultures are not too different from our own, and yet this is what hundreds of thousands of people have to live with. Our political zeitgeist puts more focus on who is to blame than actually focusing on helping others when we have the capacity to do so. Is another luxury football stadium really necessary, when that money could go to bettering the realities of people who haven't had anything good in their lives other than Taekwondo and CZcams for the past 12 years? And of course, the longer this problem goes on, the fewer people think about it because it's "old news" at this point. I don't think it will ever make sense to me. Hope is a difficult word to understand nowadays, but I hope that one day we can move past the politicians who are hellbent on scapegoating innocent people in need and that we can find the common decency to help them to the extent that they need and treat others the way we ourselves want to be treated.
We will get there. Maybe not on this earth, but those with love in their hearts will find love once more.
It sucks when we can all see how things could be better yet the destruction goes on. Thanks for sharing your thoughts continue to speak your truth.
Your message was so touching! It's very difficult to watch these children and my heart aches for the people of Syria. But watching these little kids laugh, smile, participate and have a passion is something great in a terrible place. What an unbelievable job the women running the school are doing. They're angels watching over the angels.
It always saddens me that your videos don't get more views, they are always so meaningful and heartfelt, and deserve so much more recognition!
Thanks Eric! Don't stress about views, this is a website mainly aimed at children, and we talk about hard topics from difficult places. We are very happy with those who do show up to watch. Every one is special to us.
@@RareEarthSeries You guys are easily my favorite channel on youtube. From one wayward lost traveler to another keep on trucking.
@@RareEarthSeries One problem is we see how many views a video gets within a few weeks or months and then write it off. This channel has produced so much beautiful content that is going to exist for eternity. At least functional eternity.
I hear you, but that's life. Some people view CZcams as a popularity contest and only click on videos that do well. I can't help that. I just make what I want to hear in the world and if people come and watch it I'm happy for them to do so.
@@RareEarthSeries I think through Millenia this has been the way of things. Many of us prefer to remain strongly encamped in entertainment because it’s easier to maintain our preconceived notions and worldview when we don’t seek truth. The line between entertainment and truth is blurred, and many only tread into truth when it is encased in entertainment (such as Mr.Beast’s channel). This is, in my opinion, is the purpose of bards through history. And now the bards have largely migrated to CZcams, and ditched the singing. But not all ;) Thanks for your contributions RareEarth. They are more truth than entertainment, and that’s what I like about them. Your video from Laos was one that sticks deeply in my mind.
Your dad must be so proud of the work you have done ❤️
This is awesome 👍🏻
I like to imagine that Chris is actually difficult to please, because he's been to space and his kids haven't!
@@cicolas_nage what does his sister do?
OMG LMAO I had no idea that he is his son! Now I see the resemblance! This is incredible, I'm in shock.
Guys like YOU make a difference. Kudos from Portugal.
Random point here, but I just wanted to say how much I love Portugal and the Portuguese. I lived in Lisboa for a while, and had such a great time. Lovely people, delicious food, great drinks and culture. I hope I can go back later.
@@CarlWidegrip you'll be always welcome!
If this isn't motivation to just do better, I don't know what is.
I'm not sure it would have been possible to tell that story any better than you just did. In a world of shorts and frenzied clickbait, I appreciate you taking the time for narrative and story telling. And I particularly appreciate how damn good you are at telling it.
as someone who practices taekwondo, but in a different federation, i found myself pausing and rewinding at 5:59 to check out the variation in technique from what i practice
felt weird to go into such a break during an otherwise emotional video
Gave me tears 😢… with a smile at the end 🥹. Well done.
I'm speechless, what a beautiful message. Thank you and Bless all those children and the couple that watches over them!
This is such a wholesome beautiful video, which says something considering how the people being so loving and wholesome are people who are living in camps away from their home.
Your end cards are just collections of words but make me think more about life than many books.
In the world of martial arts videos on youtube, this is a rarity. Every other MA video is about arguing over the best martial arts. In mind, this is also puts life into perspective, considering so much of martial arts culture on the internet is focused on competition and vainglory. This is a martial arts video about service and kinship in troubled times.
i have seen many of your clips - this is number ONE! - you always gives info to think, feel, - but here you reached beyond - THANK YOU!
As always, love your work Evan!
My Tae Kwon Do instructor was from Korea (him and his like 9 brothers started a bunch of studios). We started every class honoring not only America, but Korea too. He took my 7yo ADHD, no sense of self, no self control, no sense of drive, self and turned me into almost the youngest black belt on the eastern seaboard, leading classes, holding my own in and out of class.... I owe so much to him, to this martial art.... frick I'm crying again... I'm so glad I can relate to these young people. I have confidence that they will go out into this world and do amazing things.
Rare Earth, always thought-provoking, sometimes heartwarming. This is both. Well done.
As soon as I saw there was a new Rare Earth video, I thumbed it up.
And now I regret it, because after viewing it entirely I wish I could do it again…
You're a Rare Man.
I'm sobbing, happy Evan? Thanks for such a lovely video, like always
The content the sweet sweet content! I might be a weekend trip rn... but have to drop and everything and watch love you Evan!
This is amazing Evan! Thank you so much for sharing this story, and these incredibly inspiring people - and future TKD creators! - with Jimmy, CZcams, and the world
Another great video. Thank you for your wonderful story telling, your dad I'm sure is proud of his kids. I loved watching all of his videos from inside the ISS. Thank you.
Evan, you've shown some unique and fantastic things on your channel here, but this is just beauty. Thanks.
The end card here is also kind of a warning, and possibly the most important one Even has ever included, "Imagine of he gets canceled." What is the phrase, "don't meet your idol," as a warning saying they may not live up to your expectations. Worse yet being mean. When one falls, gets canceled, especially the few times they do. As it effects you and all of your fans. Woah, that would suck for so many.
This is absolutely incredible, please know how much your community appreciates you and your work. Seeing you just walk around there is eerie considering the circumstances that made most of those people come there. Incredible message and incredible imagery. Thank you
Thank you for watching, Damian. Really appreciate the kind words.
This video made me cry, thank you for work you do, the stories you tell are always amazing.
These last two videos have been some of the most moving content I've seen. Your channel is an absolute treasure.
Also i would bawl if Mr beast went there to see them
Evan! So glad to have found you once again (I confess that I wasn't actually looking)...Don't know what is wrong w You Tube, but they just stopped feeding your stuff to me after the Pandemic. Thenm today, cuz I've been looking at megalithic stuff, they gave me your Nan Madol and I was pleasantly surprised to find that you never stopped creating content and glad to find so much that I can now catch up....I really appreciate your zen like attitude and lyrical way of communicating. And now that this is my third video by you, I see YT has loaded up the side bar with many vids from Rare Earth...Thank you so much for your vignettes of other peoples lives, so we can have a real empathy (as you do) for the people and places you visit..Your connection to the history of those places is what I particularly appreciate.
This channel is treasure for humanity.
If Aliens ever get a bit of us, I hope they get this channel.
I hope Jimmy see's this. Your channel is very underrated, and as sappy as it sounds you've gotten me through some rough times.
What an incredible job you do telling these stories. I still have the chills thinking about those beautiful children and the young men that show no hate just love. What a profound message!
I got my green belt in tae kwondo and had to stop because my instructor went back to his home country. This was in the 80's so can't really remember why. I still do my basic forms a couple times a week because I just had a hip replacement so want to make sure I am still good to go. Love your content and thanks for showcasing this. I joined because or bullying in school to defend myself.
Just Wow! What a lovely and humble message. For all that each of them have been through, to come together in such a unique way is just beautiful.
Of all the CZcams channels to which I am subscribed, yours is the only one that consistently inspires actual physical applause. This essay ended for me as many of your essays do - with me, not even realizing it, compelled to rise from my desk with hands a-clap in appreciation. Gracias.
Fantastic - thank you for making this. Great to get a glimpse into their lives.
This channel really grew on me. I'm a fan since you did the Yugoslavia series. I learned a lot... If you ever come back to Bosnia I'd love to have a coffee with you in Sarajevo. Peace ✌🏼
As always great video! Amazing how Taekwondo, an environment of calm normalcy, and CZcams can be such a positive force for people in otherwise horrible circumstances. Hope those kids get to open their martial arts studio in Syria, or become CZcamsrs!
You're a great storyteller, thank you for sharing their and your story.
I have loved your work for years. I genuinely missed your content in the lockdown era.
I think this mini series on this camp is your best work yet. We westerners take so much for granted. Despite these kid’s situations they’re probably happier than a good chunk of westerners.
Don’t stop doing what you do brother!
Thank you for this, Evan. Your work is awesome as always.
Amazing video. Thanks for showing us this and all the other incredible stories over the years.
I have done Taekwondo for 9 years and taught for 3. It is one of if not the most rewarding experiences of my life. I was lucky to as paying for TKD lessons isn't Something everyone can do. So to see two people whose experiences are at minimum 3x mine if not more do it for presumably free genuinely makes me proud of the community that TKD fosters. As someone who also instructed and to see students develop with both hard work and pride in what they do: no experience tops that. I am proud to see those who had so little develop that same love and obsession I did.
Incredible storytelling. I love this and love seeing work like this on CZcams.
The beauty in this story resonates beyond all of us. Keep dreaming and never stop imagining a beautiful future for us all! I love this chit, man.
damn... these vids just keeps hitting deep.
