Like the way Mark was there to guide you with the bucket so as to not do anymore damage, good little kubota unit makes the job 100% easier, great work fellas
You guys were spot on at locating the problem. You had the right equipment and repaired the problem in short order. Most importantly you knew were the gas line was located. I'm sure the home owner was pleased.
Lol thanks. I have a few other videos but if you really want to watch someone good look up Digginok here’s a link czcams.com/video/I-HLlLms64A/video.html. He tells how to dig from top down. Thanks for your king comment.
I always put my sod to one side the dirt to the other side. That way you can put the dirt back first then the sod last. When your done no need to redo the grass. Saves time.
I want one! Really! Have absolutely no use for it other than to fill in the hole I just dug or am going to dig elsewhere, One thing my buddy does (and only if it really matters to ya) is he skims the sod off and sets it aside from where the dirt pile will be. Then when he fills the hole he has a cleaner finished job because he puts the sod back on top, green side up! Hehehe. Less work than reseeding or re-sodding again. I liked the Video and look forward to more. Thanks!
shitloveaduck the BX backhoe tractor is awesome, yes you are right about the way to do sod when you dig it up. When I did this commercially I would try and lay sod to the side plus I kept grass seed on the truck to put around sod when we put it back. I only work on my rental property so we are usually so far behind we dig fix and go. Thanks for watching and commenting you have a blessed day.
Great Work! You and Mark make a good team. Big or small, there’s nothing like hydraulic power. Can’t image digging the trench by hand. 😱 That is one sweet machine! Sub’d and eager to see more videos on your Channel. Good luck and take Care. Roy Lewis, Buffalo, NY
Best to put a small 9" inspection chamber that allows for rodding down stream AND allows for the use of a pigs tail UP the drain too - Nice little machine BTW!
Wayne Barrie thanks Wayne I’ve wanted one for a few yrs because I’ve had to borrow one in the past times I’ve had sewer or water leaks and the one I borrowed from a friend was a large backhoe and these are usually small jobs, I just needed a small backhoe for small jobs I’m not going to be laying water lines or sewer lines mine are just small repair jobs. Thanks for watching and commenting you have a blessed an awesome 4th of July.
Patrick Richardson thanks Patrick, it will make someone a nice home when it’s done, it’s getting a complete make over!! Hopefully I’ll find the right family when it’s Done or they will find me!! Thanks for watching and commenting you have a blessed weekend
You need banded mission clamp couplings and “man off’s” no hub adaptors. Underground fernco couplings don’t cut it over the long term. Nice tractor thought.
I had a gas line going literally 5" from the sewer. Boy was that a pain to dig up .but you guys might as well should have replace the whole line I mean cast iron is as old as it gets
Well you will surely know if you hit that gas pipe. Your mate kneeling there with a cigarette will probably give you a shout as he leaps over the house in a ball of flames!😳
You are correct, when locating a pipe under ground it’s always a delicate thing not to ripe it out of the ground!! Plus the markings for the gas pipe could be off. You never know what’s in the ground, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’m always impressed by the power of this little machine. Thanks for commenting.
There is a gas line in close proximity to your dig. Also, sewage [methane and hydrogen sulfide] is flammable and highly explosive. Apparently, you are very near it. The man helping locate the sewage line line is down very close to its location with a lit cigarette in his hand. BOOM BOOM! Between the bucket, the gases and the cigarette he could have lost his head. Glad he didn't.
We're on about a 50/50 mix of river rock and sand/clay mix soil. Any thoughts on how this would dig in stony soil? Right now I'm digging with mattock and shovel.
Nice work good digging .The only thing that i would add is for saftey sake Your helper should not be that close tothe machine while you are digging because if you made a wrong move and it doesn't matter how good you are we all do it sometimes you could kill or injure him but other than that you did a great job.
make America great again not really if you really pay attention to it. They have a marker on the bucket to help with leveling but you have to pay attention to it.
With me not being a licensed plumber I’m only allowed to replace 10ft sections at a time because it’s rental property. If it was the house I live in I can replace the hole line but only 10ft on rental property.
Nice video sir,can you please tell me how much is the rent for a machine like that one daily? I hope you have the time to answer my cuestion, thanks in advance.
Do you think this tractor is good enough to expose sewer taps? Some can be 6.5’ deep. I have a plumbing company in Texas and it’s sucks to look for those sewer taps with a shovel.
Bigger problem is whether you're comfortable you can dig up a sewer without breaking it. If the sewer is at 6'6, then only digging to 6' and finishing with a shovel sounds like a good idea to me.
jj1479 the 12 inch bucket is all I think I will ever need. I plan on only digging sewer line repairs or water line repairs. Thanks for watching and commenting you have a blessed day

Ive always hand cut the sod out with a shovel so it fits back in like puzzle pieces. But this is a customer job so he will probally charge to re seed
Good high quality work, keep it up boys💯👌🏼💪🏼

Nice dirt to dig! I dug up 6 giant rocks trenching yesterday. Cheers from Maine!
Throat dirt is so pretty. Looks iron rich
6:32 when you need to help machinery by hand is a indicator that you bought to small of a machine lol
He is cleaning away the dirt from the pipe so the operator can see it, and knows 100% where its at. But you knew that already didn't you

Awhile

That’s not how it works. You have to have the right mixture of fuel and oxygen to have an explosion.
A lit cigarette also will not ignite a fire. If he were to light it next to an open gas line then sure
should have put a y in the line instead of a T so you can use it as a cleanout if you need to
