Upon watching the video, several questions popped into my mind. In the human condition before the common era, it has been mentioned that the primitive people worshipped elephants and mammoths as their deities or gods, but how did they come up with the idea that there were gods to worship? Why did they come up with the idea that these animals were the ones to worship? It's truly mind-boggling to try to connect science and theology.The lack of records during the primitive period makes finding answers even more difficult.Moreover, it has also been mentioned that "humans don't know what they're seeking for," and a question popped into my mind: "Do humans really not know what they're seeking for?" Or is it just that we haven't found the answers we're seeking? Or is it because we seek more, hence the continuous searching? It's fascinating and confusing to think how science as well as technological advancements brought us comfort and revealed what was then unknown, yet our condition still hasn't changed. Technology as a way of revealing: I am not one of the older generations but I also think that because of science and technology, not only do we get a good life but our lives are getting much harder too, I mean with the advent of internet, everybody is almost like expecting you to study on your own and that you know a lot or do good in school. There's no way of going back and if I chose to live a simple life then that means I have to give up on my other dreams which can be achieved through science and technology or that's like neglecting the truth, the gift and hard work of our ancestors. Human condition before common era-I agree that we do want things easier, I mean even the number of years one spends schooling could change. Besides, we have a different pace in learning. Back then, fur clothing was for the sake of surviving the cold and hot weather conditions, but today, it's for fashion, to look extravagant, fabulous or rich. And animals' teeth or horns are being turned into necklaces to serve as a medal, now, we usually have the plastic ones and is intended for fashion or identity as well. We now prefer a shiny medal and trophy, be it in silver, bronze or gold. There are still people for example, who collects antlers of deer for personal reasons like tradition but many are against animal torture. Religious beliefs in the past are still evident today, for there are places that science and technology have not yet occupied, but even if it did, religion is still its strongest contender and therefore, it's natural that way to keep the world in balance. Human condition in the common era-Territorial disputes is still happening today, our very own country vs. China for example. But because there are things that only Philippines can produce for countries like China and there are also things that China can produce for us and for other countries, that issue is almost like being swept under the rug. It's true that there is an extinction of flaura and fauna (I don't support the mining in my town). The Philippine eagle, Philippine Crocodile and our very own tarsiers are considered endangered or extinct creatures. Science and technology definitely tries its best to save them by keeping an eye on their population, still there aren't enough spaces or sanctuaries to protect them. I also saw a video on CZcams, where in a dessert, there were violet flowers growing rapidly. But no matter how beautiful it was, it was competition to the native plants because those violet flowers came from another land and was only brought there by someone, thus, it was considered a threat. Anyways, because of science and technology I was born healthy and my mother was able to survive or recover from cancer (mortality rate). During Covid19, I have to say that the average lifespan was not evident because when people got sick, they didn't want to go to the hospital and be diagnosed of Covid (even when they don't have it) and eventually die and be buried or even burned like the people in India. They're not allowed to spend their last moments with their family because of the virus. Eventually, many chose to die at home, on their beds. So, despite the fact that medicines are made available, it requires a high price (money). I think my school needs to be renovated (hello government, checkout VSU, so nice and a public school too) I'm not getting the quality education {my right) that it claims, perhaps better chairs can be provided, I mean we could reach out to other schools and ask for discarded or old chairs. But who am I right? (because of the many circumstances that hinders it from becoming developed, I chose to be grateful that I'm in such school and not worrying about tuition fees, just transportation and everyday meals). Technology is indeed expensive. I for example want an Iphone, but the price does not meet my current status but I'm still trying to save up though. I also saw a video on CZcams, where in a dessert, there were violet flowers growing rapidly. But no matter how beautiful it was, it was competition to the native plants because those violet flowers came from another land and was only brought there by someone, thus, it was considered a threat. Anyways, because of science and technology I was born healthy and my mother was able to survive or recover from cancer (mortality rate). During Covid19, I have to say that the average lifespan was not evident because when people got sick, they didn't want to go to the hospital and be diagnosed of Covid (even when they don't have it) and eventually die and be buried or even burned like the people in India. They're not allowed to spend their last moments with their family because of the virus. Eventually, many chose to die at home, on their beds. So, despite the fact that medicines are made available, it requires a high price (money). I think my school needs to be renovated (hello government, checkout VSU, so nice and a public school too) I'm not getting the quality education {my right) that it claims, perhaps better chairs can be provided, I mean we could reach out to other schools and ask for discarded or old chairs. But who am I right? (because of the many circumstances that hinders it from becoming developed, I chose to be grateful that I'm in such school and not worrying about tuition fees, just transportation and everyday meals). Technology is indeed expensive. I for example want an Iphone, but the price does not meet my current status but I'm still trying to save up though. The essence of Technology- because of technology I was able to search on the web, the meanings of unfamiliar words found in the module or pdf of this topic. All in all, science and technology can aid and even harm or endanger us. Riding a rollercoaster and eventually fall because of a malfunction. Or riding an airplane and accidentally crash.

It gives us the idea of how the science influenced the people in the past that lead to the changes of the people in today. Science, truly has a great impact to our lives. It made our life easier because we have already discovered things with the help of science. Science and technology are very helpful in human life. It will open the gate to human flourishing. Life without science and technology are very hard. Imagine doing all the work because of the lack of knowledge in science and technology. The progress and development in human life would be really slow if there are absence of science and technology. Science and technology not only developed one aspect in our lives but, they improved all aspects in our lives including religion, livelihood, transportation, etc. Technology plays a vital role in the life of humans. As what Heidegger said “Technology is a mean to an end”. This means that technology is a tool to individuals that desires to make an impact to the society. It is used to achieve a goal. Technology really reveals something because we are able to know things that were concealed. science and technology has been part of human activity since the beginning of our species but the use of it were later discovered. It aided us in survival, helped us explore the world more, and most importantly, it made our life easier and more comfortable. Technology as a way of revealing: Technology has a significant impact on almost every aspect of 21st-century life, from transportation efficiency and safety to food and healthcare availability, sociability, and productivity. The internet's power has made it easier to build worldwide communities and share ideas and resources. With the passage of time, new technologies replace the older ones based on the existing concept of knowledge and ideas. Modern technologies are the new innovation in the old technologies. In this way, modern technologies are not applicable if traditional technologies didn't exist. But overuse of some technologies, on the other hand, has been linked to a loss in mental health, increased social divisiveness, and privacy concerns.

Technology as a way of revealing clearly showed that the emergence of technology has brought big changes into the everyday lives of the people. It improved our quality of life through using products of technology such as gadgets and appliances. Also, it paved the way for easier communication and faster transportation no matter how far we are from one another.
But despite these positive changes, there are still some people, specifically the older generation, who found it hard to adapt and adjust to the changes brought by technology.
Nevertheless, as members of the younger generation, we are challenged to ignite the interest of the older generation and take them with us as we further explore science and technology in way that is accessible for all ages because as they all say, "it's never to late to start learning".

Technology is a way of living and science leads the way. This discussion had shown science and technology before. It is something that has to be seen by students like us. Now, we are bombarded with advances in technology and forgot about how it deserved to be preserved. Our ancestors introduced these ways and it is just developed now. Indeed, technology has helped before until now. Science also provides a great part in these changes. Thus, to be able to develop and enhance these, we have to take part as students. We can create our own creations through science and technology as modern generations. We lead the way and we have to be the way.
Heidegger says that technology is a mode of revealing: “Technology comes to presence in the realm where revealing and unconcealment take place, where truth happens.” Thus, technology reveals the Truth of the world, and revealing is something that gives or shows itself.
However, comparing the lives of the people before and now, noticable changes happened in our society not just in terms of our culture but due to the existence of science and technology, generation gap enters in the picture. Generation gap is a big challenge in the development of science and technology. But it is not something to be worried about. It's just a challenge for us to make our technological advancement more applicable to everyone, not just for us young ones but also to the people who are having a hard time embracing the idea or development of STS.

Well, as what I have learned from the report we can really say that technology reveals the 'truth' of the world. And modern technology is revealing that we aren’t living in our world. We are living in a digitally constructed dystopia, our existence only present through social media. Social media is more than a bad habit we need to break; it is a world we need to break away from. Now the question is, what does Martin Heidegger mean when he says that technology is a way of revealing? And how is technology used as a way of revealing? Technology embodies a specific way of revealing the world, a revealing in which humans takes power over reality. Technology reveals the world as a raw material that is ready for production and manipulation. Modern technology is like "forcing into being".
