As someone that saw Alegria back in the early 2000s in Denver, and then just saw the remake in July in Portland, OR, I was torn...I absolutely loved the original and the story it told, not to mention how the Cirque people performed. The remake is different in many ways, but still pays homage to the original. All I know is that as a 57 male, I'm still in awe as to what these performers can do and applaud them for being so dedicated to their craft. I am curious, though: why do you think this wasn't a good show? What did you need to see?
Hello, I actually really loved the show. I saw the original Alegría as well, but this version left me feeling more inspired as I left. This videos title is mostly just to calm the copyright claims. I saw the show 5 times in Portland and once in Seattle, so I can say with confidence that I very much adore this new version.
To be honest, I'm just trying not to get copyrighted. Alegría has been my favorite show I've seen in a long time. And yes, I will see Corteo, but in Portland.
@@cirqueclips This Alegria was sooo good! My favorite Cirque show I’ve ever seen. Seen it five times in Seattle including both shows on the final day. Thank you for your other video of the opening act. I literally watch it at least five times a week. I wish they had a recording of the show that we can buy on DVD or something.
Thank you for these videos! I’ve been on an Alegria hyperfixation all year. If you have the german wheel or the adagio act, I would greatly appreciate it!
@@acethetics3878 shoot. I saw a really good recording of the hand to hand act here on CZcams a while ago but hadn’t kept it in my favorites. If I find it I’ll let you know.

Awww, what was the best one you’ve seen in Seattle? Do you live in Seattle? Are you going to Corteo next spring?
