Vijay sir, you have without naming a strategy have given one. Brilliant idea it is to short futures and shorting a lower PE. I have just got an insight into MWPL which I never bothered to look at. The number of counters available there are huge which have percentages over 70. There is an ocean of counters one can dabble in. Just need to see the liquidity available in selling a PE. Kudos to you sir. I have been an admirer of you for your oratory skills as well as the value you bring in in every outing on CZcams. Spotting a Guru is not easy with the barrage of knowledge dispensed every hour by various so called “Pro’S”.. to say the least I am your Shisyaa. God Bless..

It would still be a loss making trade if the stock goes above 305, less than 2% up move from current market price. Extremely risky....or am I missing something? Having said that the way you explained this in an extremely simplistic manner.

Basis the concept which you have explained in this video, given a situation, what will you do: 1) Sell one lot of future + sell 2 lots of ATM/OTM puts Or 2) Sell ATM straddle - one lot each When I check the payoff there isn't any difference in range covered. But what I do know is that straddle will give double the premium (but difficult to hold long). At the same time trade (1) Will attract more trading charges. Given the market dynamics, which one is a more successful model. Please share your experience.

Thank you for this informative video. I have a doubt. I am an option buyer (basically scalper). I do not hold my position for more than a day (as a matter of fact less than 1-2 hours). Does this apply to me? I understand the 'the tilted table in casino' reference was to the premium decay which affects the option buyers. As a scalper who has a pretty decent winrate strategy does this affect me?

Sir, I have a basic doubt, you are saying Market is tilted to favour those who go short.. The current market is gone through such a bull run, how come they make money.. ? Writing Puts ? isn't that be a miniscule amount as compared to loss in shorting future ? If I short a future, where I am getting interest ?

Seriously Mr Bhambwani - you advocate a strategy that teaches one how to enter and then no SLs or exit strategies. Reminded of Abhimanyu and anyone who trades this without an exit strategy is doomed. In fact without a proper hedge (short PE is not a hedge) this is a disaster waiting to happen. And oh by the way selling options is not like money waiting to be made that you make it seem - not sure if you have heard of Victor Niederhoffer - he thought the same and while it works for a few years, if you are lucky, the implosions are as sensational too like eating like a bird and shitting like and elephant. Been in the market for 20 years and this is what I do for a living and must say that I expected better things from a renowned market participant like you!
Sanjeev I wish you had adopted a more sanguine and mature approach to commenting on a video that is the first in a series on this topic. As I have clearly mentioned in the video multiple times, this video is about establishing the fact that interest costs imply a clear skew / bias favouring sellers rather than buyers. Forthcoming videos will dig into the flesh and carve the details out. Till then reserve your comments.
Sir, I understand that seller makes money, now as you said the seed (You will only loose premium paid) has been placed in me (sorry to say, but it is truth, "I have been raped multiple times and I carry this child (less capital more profit) as mine") and has taken strong roots, so how do i ABORT this IDEA and convince myself how to bring in more capital.

Sir, I have a basic doubt, you are saying Market is tilted to favour those who go short.. The current market is gone through such a bull run, how come they make money.. ? Writing Puts ? isn't that be a miniscule amount as compared to loss in shorting future ?

Seriously Mr Bhambwani - you advocate a strategy that teaches one how to enter and then no SLs or exit strategies. Reminded of Abhimanyu and anyone who trades this without an exit strategy is doomed. In fact without a proper hedge (short PE is not a hedge) this is a disaster waiting to happen. And oh by the way selling options is not like money waiting to be made that you make it seem - not sure if you have heard of Victor Niederhoffer - he thought the same and while it works for a few years, if you are lucky, the implosions are as sensational too like eating like a bird and shitting like and elephant. Been in the market for 20 years and this is what I do for a living and must say that I expected better things from a renowned market participant like you!
Sanjeev I wish you had adopted a more sanguine and mature approach to commenting on a video that is the first in a series on this topic. As I have clearly mentioned in the video multiple times, this video is about establishing the fact that interest costs imply a clear skew / bias favouring sellers rather than buyers. Forthcoming videos will dig into the flesh and carve the details out. Till then reserve your comments.
Sir, I understand that seller makes money, now as you said the seed (You will only loose premium paid) has been placed in me (sorry to say, but it is truth, "I have been raped multiple times and I carry this child (less capital more profit) as mine") and has taken strong roots, so how do i ABORT this IDEA and convince myself how to bring in more capital.
