दुसऱ्याचा content permission शिवाय वापरून तो स्वतःचा म्हणून वापरणे हे खरंच अयोग्य आहे. तू हे social media वर share केलंस ते योग्य केलंस. हे बघून पण जर Latest marathi कीर्तन ने content हटवला नाही तर तू त्यांच्यावर वर कायदेशीर कारवाई करून त्यांना content हटवण्यास भाग पाडू शकतेस. त्यासाठी वकिलांचा सल्ला घ्यावास.

Honestly it’s unfair for her to even have to handle a court case, the monetary expense if the case would be more than anything she would have gained from the clips. What is the chance that the court will even get to this fairly small case when there’s pending cases of serious crime. This is why crime thrives in India
bro.. Spotify is a Swedish company.. so even if a court case is filed in India then too it wouldn't matter as it has to be passed down to the Swedish court or you'll have to directly file a case in Sweden itself.
and court cases take a lot of time n money.. so it'll not be very practical to file a case as it is

Hi Arya - it was quite heartbreaking to hear your plight. Heartbreaking because you seem to be the person who just want to sing, enjoy and let others enjoy your music. Unfortunately, the world does not work that way. I have my own CZcams channel of playing Hindustani music on Bansuri. There is an organization which did a copyright strike on my flute version of "Vaishnava Jana To" because they own Lataji's version. The world is full of such a****ls unfortunately. If you want to handle this in the right way, you should do the following things. 1. Have a clause in your contract with your organizers that the music you would be presenting is your copyright and any reproduction of the concert is prohibited. 2. Also have a clause with specific announcement to this effect in every concert so that audience is aware. This should give you the necessary copyright cover needed to have copyright strikes against such people.
Very sorry to hear this Aarya. It is really shameful and illegal act of posting your art without your consent.... unfortunately the technologies have progressed way far faster than the changes to laws... I hope you find the right solution and all those fraudsters get punisher for their act!!!

Madam, first time thing is that as you said "Marathi Abhanga'S no one can claim intellectual property of his own. As far as music composed and your voice is concerned there has to be registration of the those songs ,as far as I know . The only thing you can do is to get registration of all such songs as early as possible, including video& audio of music concerts .

Actor Anil Kapoor had given notice in N . Delhi newspapers to public that they the public cannot use his voice or Image w/o his permission the ad world. It came in newspapers a few months back.
That's a common practice....you can't do anything but to watch it happening helplessly....
Get the video footage of the concert where you were performing live so that date will also be displayed on footage
It's horrible and literally soo wrong..... Shameless people will always take the credit they otherwise can't even earn.....I protest these bloody useless handles 😞😮

Aaryaji, you are humble nature artists, that's way u look other pepole too but there are not. It's happen with me too. Some one in south America he put all my pogrom, on his a/c with his name. ' You Tube ' are tell me the same things what u face. In Time manners it's long n slow process .
With the help of lawyer's drafted threaten letter I send to his e-mail. It's work for me. He take down my program from his a/c. Do the same things. I hope that's work for you. All the best. 🙏

MAKE A CASE AND ASK THE FRAUD COMPANY TO PROVIDE THEIR PORRF OF RECORDINGS. THEY GOT THE SONG SUNG BY YOU SO LEGALLY THEY MUST BE HAVING ORIGINAL AUDIO, WHICH THEY WONT BE HAVING COZ IT IS ILLEGALY USED. NOT A PROFESSIONAL IN THIS BUT I FELT TO HELP. HOPE THIS HELPS IN ANY FORM TO U. Always a Fan!

very strange. court case करून एक तर स्वतः चा content protect karta येईल, आणि बहुधा new laws पण recommend करता यावेत. can contact lawmakers in parallel too, especially those connected to music.
Arya, the best solution is decode your Original kirtan, Marathi songs on you tube channel. So automatically that video & audio, can't play on CZcams channel or any where. Others country Singers use that technique for there safety. you have contact software engineer or developer. Best of luck 👍

No other option than filing case in court. The option the provide, terms & conditions, policies are always designed to favor to them. So you have to only fight in court. You all singer ( incuding other language , state), musicians can team up , because this is not happening with only you. And in USA , Europe youtube is very strict, here it is deliberately lineant. To give original links you have to upload your originals, even if you don't want to 😢

I would suggest you to upload all the precious song you sang for the safer side. Make it private but upload. Bcoz you can’t say it’s yours unless you have some proof. At least those guys should have given credits 😡.
Well....as far as my knowledge goes (and I may be wrong), the Abhangs (Not AbhangAs) are not your copyrights. They belong to whoever owns the rights for the original recordings of Kishoritai. The most you can do is just clear your name in case the original copyright holders sue that Latest Marathi Kirtan or whatever guys for infringement under section 52 of Indian Copyright Act of 1957. Legally, only the rightful copyright owners can sue that label, and they SHOULD.
This is very unfair. Donot give up fighting against it.
I think as fans, we can all do one thing. Since Aarya has declared the content is not being used by her permission, maybe we should report abuse for this Latest Abhanga channel on platforms.
Also, I am sure some of the seniors in the industry or an IPR Lawyer can help you get in touch with streaming platforms to reject this content as being used without permission by an entity. As an artist, you should have the right to defend your voice as your ownership and its use without permission.

hi Aarya.. so i went through the whole vid.. (and i should mention i m neither a singer nor a musician nor do i have any relation with the music industry..)
but i am also an artist like u.. an "Illustrator" to be more precise.
so as far as i know.. if YOU have SUNG those songs in a concert.. then that is YOUR ITERATION of those songs and thus that should "technically belong to you" because you have sung it in your own voice, unless the original singer/owner of the song has claimed copyright on you (which they cannot as far as i know bcoz its your own voice n iteration.)
so lets say if i were to draw the Mona Lisa painting (which belongs to Leonardo Da Vinci), i will myself hold the Rights to my version of Mona Lisa because it is drawn by me.. because it is simply my version of Mona Lisa.
so a simple solution to this, (according to me atleast), would be.. to upload your live concert videos on your CZcams and then fill the Copyright Claim/Infringement form on Spotify by linking to those live concert videos that you have uploaded.
An alternative way would be to just link the existing videos that the audio is extracted from while filling the copyright form.
And from next time i would highly recommend you to upload all of your Live Concert videos on CZcams.. so that you have the RIGHTS to your own stuff.
Plus it'll also increase your audience and people would enjoy it haha!! ;p
Things like these happen all the time in the Art industry.. be it Music, Art, Voice Acting, Animation, Writing or anything else.. so chill chill.
(also i should mention.. take all this with a grain of salt, as i do not know how the music industry works.. BUT.. it is worth a try!!)

In India, there are not "copyright" laws. Again, nobody cares for it, given Indian Judiciary that's out of date.
In fact, you get free outreach. That's exactly why you made them public. You can negotiate at personal and try to settle the matter.
Here in Canada, the Indian professor's research work was copied by the Canadian Research Institutions. Even after going to courts, he was not responded. Basically, it's western Ecosystem. India needs to have Hindu Ecosystem to address this problem. Also, unless Indian social media under Indian Government control like in China, this'll continue.

Posting program as it is, is fine, as you also learnt the same way, you also would have enjoyed it. Of course, if there is any revenue and they have not added any value, then you deserve the share. But AI and voice replication is something that will destroy the singers and musicians, unless someone is so talented that AI can't even imagine the improvisation. BTW: to look at it other way round, to kill the game played by these youtube players, I would say that you can sing those same songs in live programs and it will earn huge respect in the live programs.. 🙂 Later, you can claim the recording and ask the royalty, as voice is still yours. Let the AI producer present the original singer, with that voice and then you can claim in court, that your voice was used.

Firstly, any of your claims would be entertained only if you had the licence to perform those in the concert from the original right holders.
Secondly, it is a good practice to always record anything you perform or say including in interviews on a public forum using your own trusted crew to ensure something like this doesn't happen. It also reduces the risks of misquoting you/ quoting you out of context. Disclaimer, I am not a lawyer, but have faced similar situations in the past and successfully negotiated on the account of having such recordings.
At any point, if you think, we being your fans, can do something to help in the matter, Do Tell.
