Dont say, ya malik, ya al malik, aka the ooh The sovereign(i.e the owner of everything in existence). Ya malik, is the call the disbelievers will make on the day of judgement to the angel who guards hellfire, who is called malik as mentioned in the verse of surah 43 verse 77. Just leaving the (al) part completely changes the meaning but i believe that wasnt your intention and this shows how ignorance is deadly
{ وَنَادَوۡا۟ یَـٰمَـٰلِكُ لِیَقۡضِ عَلَیۡنَا رَبُّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّـٰكِثُونَ }
[Surah Az-Zukhruf: 77]
And they will call, O Mālik,[[Addressing the keeper of Hell.]] let your Lord put an end to us! He will say, Indeed, you will remain.
@@quranclipsthat is false, Al Malik means the king and it's one of Allah's names, and you can totally say ya Malik, just like Al Kareem is one of Allah's names and you can say ya Kareem, just like Al Rahman you can say ya Rahman, etc. As for ya maalik in the mentioned verse it's different it's the name of the gaurdian of hellfire and it's maaalik the "A" is more extended. Anyway I can keep going about the difference between the two but I think the first part of my comment is the important part, you can totally say ya Malik ya Rahman ya Raheem, nothing is wrong with that.
