Those SLK350s are fun little cars. My dad had a 2015 when it was new and we loved it. The 06-08 350s have the most problems. We also had a Suburban like that one. Had a rear bench seat instead and was an LT trim with 4x4. Was such a great vehicle! We had it from new in 2003 until 2017. I think that truck is worth a transmission replacement. They don’t make them like that anymore. I wish we still had ours.
10 grand for that olds is crazy... Whoever bid it up to 4200 is crazy too. Like $2500 would be my limit on it in it's current condition.

Randy please get the 73 Delta 88 convertible. I would love to see it on your channel. That's. Y dream car. I had one the I was gonna restore that was a high school graduation from my grandparents but the frame rusted out. So that kind of car is sentimental to me.

My first car in 1986 was that 73 Olds Delta Royale coupe with a Rocket 350 ....38 years later I still miss driving that car, it was a cruiser. Burgundy with cream interior and cream top. It's ICONIC offer $6k and restore that beauty you'll love it.

I had a 1973 olds Cutlass Brougham with 455, turbo 400 trans , duel exhaust, swivel bucket seats ,floor console shifter .
Was a candy maroon color with half vinyl top ,black. Ralley Wheels, white letter tires.

That SLK350 has the M276 V6 which has direct injection and makes 302HP
Actually the low value of the Oldsmobile is over 11,000 average is over 30,000 and high value is 54000 so at 10000 its actually a good price
Yes, $10,000 would be way too much for that Delta 88. You can buy one in really nice condition for around $20k. And you would have to put A HELL OF A LOT more than $10k. into that one to get it in really nice condition. But If it runs out okay and you wanted one in that condition just to cruise around in, or to drive in some sort of car gathering road trip then $4900 isn't that bad.
You left the 300s in accessory mode. Good job. You complain about everyone else doing something like that, but you did it too.
Does it matter? The car doesn't even start, and it already had a dead battery.

Has a dead battery and already has a bad motor he aint hurting that car cause i gurantee as soon as he takes his jump pack off its dead again so nobodys gonna try to start it anyway so quit being a baby
The white Chevy with the bad trans would be my choice. It's loaded with options, and has a hitch you have done harder transmission replacements than that go for it.

Hey Randy, The first thing I look for in the morning when I go on, CZcams, is auto auction rebuilds ! I am addicted to the number one automotive channel on CZcams! That being said, I can see where the Yukon is definitely a temptation specially at the right price! Seems to be in great shape! Also, the Mercedes, if you can get it really really cheap! And oh, hell no on that Vintage Oldsmobile at that price!

32 inch wheels and a blown big block and some candy paint and that Oldsmobile would be perfect.
Pro tip. If you close the door and put your seatbelt on all the dinging will go away, you can roll down the window and listen for clicks and fuel pumps.
They're high as hell on that Old's. 1200.00 tops. I'd be all over that Suburban. No rust !

I like the olds 88 drop top. It’s one of my favorite convertibles. I would not pay 10k for it. I do hope someone grabs it and puts some care and feeding on it. Would hate for this car to die.
I like the danger ranger. I like all the old ones verses the new ones. I hope the upcoming new ranger looks better than the current show room duds.
SLK rebuild would be fun, and I say that as someone that was once tired of all the euro cars on the channel, lol.

The top has to be made from scratch ,but no problem .A complete restoration can be expensive and maybe the value of the car has been exceeded by costs .

I would question the metal integrity of that old Olds. You get down to "bare metal" and you have Swiss cheese. I'm all GM and I've had a couple of Olds from the seventies but I couldn't touch that beauty.

The Chevy suburban yes, you can turn it in a overlander and the 350 would be fun. The Oldsmobile no way to much they are asking a fully restored price.

Randy run as fast as u can from the Olds some one is smoking the good stuff there as it sits in the elements of the weather 10,200.00 for a car that needs 15,000 soaked into it for a restore ... jump on the suburban and put a trans in that before u think of the Olds
NOT ALL 350 MERCEDES CARS HAVE TIMING ISSUES... Only models earlier than 2007 with the M272 V6/M273 V8 are prone to this defect.

Those old GM’s were great, but as we all know, the transmissions were the weak link. Not to mention when people tow with them they always leave them in overdrive and or never use the tow haul mode. That’s a quick way to destroy a transmission.
