- Hey guys so after a poll on instagram I decided to film me taking down my locs. Talk to you about things you should keep in mind. Also here a quick tutorial on how I did my faux locs this time around. Each time I feel like I get better and these were the best ones ive done so far.
My technique I know it takes longer and there are shorter ways. The reason I braid my hair first is because I braids my entire head in half ways braids to already have my hair divided and to know how many locs im going to do, from there i continue with the rest of the process you see in the video. Hope you enjoyed this while I finish putting out more content for you all
HAIR USED:
Kanekalon braiding hair
TO WRAP: Kinky texture hair (marley hair)
BRUSH : Denman brush
Dipped in boiling hot water to seal
FAQ ON MY LOCS:
I had 37 locs in total on my head(yes I counted lol )
Took me 12 hours this way
7 packs of hair in total and there was hair left over

This video was very helpful. I always freak out when ever my hair comes out. Lol my hair has never been this long before I went natural 9 years ago and I charish every inch lol. But you made perfect sense so now I can relax. Thank you so much for making this video. O on another video someone mentioned using a detangling spray to loosen the locs and the hair will slip right out. I think this is a great idea worth trying. Thanks again.

Yes queen!!! Had my fro and got locs a good few months ago. The girl who did my locs put no love or care into her work so taking them out was an actual nightmare! My hair ended up being totally damaged and torn. I'm back to the pixie cut and I'm so excited to be back to where I was so I can start doing styles youve posted ❤️ my favorite I've tried is the faux mohawk thingy. Its just shedding, everyone’s hair sheds but when your hair is in a protective style like braids or locs the shedding hair has nowhere to go
