- I took a look at the PixPilot V3 from MFE Make Fly Easy www.makeflyeasy.com. It's not really a review, just an overview. Installed in the Dancing Wings Hobby balsa 1/2 scale kit.

Hi Tim. Very glad I found your channel.
I've been wanting to get into the world of autonomous flight using Ardupilot, but have been a little overwhelmed at all the flight controller options out there, especially the ones that require soldering pins onto the board!
I'm not sure if this is even the right question to ask, but is this flight controller combo pack good for a newbie in this area? I'm a technically minded person (I work in IT as a dev) but I find some electronic system a little confusing sometimes.
Also, re learning Ardupilot, would you have any recommend resources?

The plane is a Dancing Wings Hobby kit. You can buy the kit or ARF on Amazon or at dwhobby.com check out my other RQ-7 videos I have explained the electronics in one of them. The video overlay is goprotelemetryextractor.com
