This video has stimulated interesting discussions. That’s a good thing. As a woman, what qualities do I find in other women that make them unforgettable? On the other hand I am also curious as to what qualities mature men find unforgettable in older women. We are really Venus and Mars in our thinking. This study answered some of the questions in my mind. The study basically is about what men find attractive in older women. The study has nothing to do with anything other than our knowledge of how men perceive us mature women.
Sandra, I too have thought many times that men want a younger woman and would never settle for a woman of age as I see in some of the comments below. If we take a look at what men see in younger women well yes for one they are young, but what other characteristics....it is the characteristics of youth. Such as playful, humorous, fun, not serious, etc. Why can't we show as women of age these same characteristics, but show that we have taken care of ourselves and that we can be as fun and playful and even sexier than the young. Besides we are past the child bearing age and men that are older would not be dealing with a second family. Hopefully men would then be able to see the youth we once had......just my opinion, just in saying.... I welcome other comments.

It's simple - live authentically and give to others Live life w the curiosity of a child...with the maturity of a woman who now understands both Mars & Venus. We live our lives, straddling both. We are Warrior Queens who inherently know our experiences are fertile. We've culled the ground, sown the seed, tending and weeding to a serene result💫💥💫

it's inner beauty because outer beauty fades later on in life. when my wife had her stroke, her face sagged, her body became perilized. her inner beauty took over and i looked after her until she passed. i never loved her less. she isn't crippled anymore. i'm sure she is loved where she is. she is still loved here too. thank you young sandra.
Hi Sandra this is what I learned at 68. I lost the love if my life at 39. 29 years later after dating a few, for lack of a better word, jerks in that time This is my conclusion. A man should be an accessory not a necessity. They want younger women????? So they date these women and then burn out. I dated one of these guys. He is in a nursing home. I am still going strong. Working, I have my Instagram cooking and so much more. There is such a thing as being alone and loneliness. I think I will wait for God to send the right guy for me.

Im looking for a male companion on dating websites but find majority of the old men want women under 50. Im 71 so losing hope of finding anyone but i will hang in there.
Many times the fantasy of a good relationship with a man is better than the reality. So finding an "unforgettable man" is also a dream.

I realized I changed when I walk in a room now and look to see who I want to talk to or be around- not who is looking at me or if they like me. I like me- and that has made all the difference in my happiness and contentment to do things people can’t believe I accomplish in my life. For me - life is an adventure and I reinvent myself at any time I feel it’s time...I spent years developing the inside of me and it shows. My biggest piece of advice is to never stop learning about yourself! It’s an individual journey- you are what matters. Learn to love yourself fully and deeply and you’ll become the best version of yourself. No one can deny a person who lives fully engaged in their life. They will know immediately that you are different and unique

Well said, Sandra. I'm 70 and definitely engaged with the world, confident and happy and married a long time. Last year for my birthday a younger male friend of the family gave me a very beautiful card that said how unforgettable I am ( in a good way, lol). We've known him since he was a teenager and it was about the highest compliment he could have given me. It was very moving to receive that at 70!

Hi Ms Sandra, I'm a 23yo guy and I can agree to everything that you've shared in this video. I think 'kindness' is the most beautiful thing a person can wear and it makes one unforgettable, I believe when one is kind hearted, the other good qualities will follow along because it is very difficult to fake kindness. A woman shouldn't necessarily equip themselves with those good personalities just to impress/attract men, but to help themselves becoming an unforgettable and inspiring person to the everyone around them(including women) instead, just as you always said "be kind to someone who crosses your path, and share the love". I was married to a narcissist for 25 years finally l am divorced, starting life over in my 50s sounds scary but l am very very happy. My children love me, that is what counts. Love your positive attitude. Thank you for sharing🌹❤🌹
I raised my kids by myself although l was married, he was never a father nor a husband. The games he played. Gave me less then 10% needed to raise our "my" children. Noone knew because l kept quiet. But my children know the truth appreciate everything l did for them as l was very honest with them. I am so grateful for my children.

One last thing I can bring to the table of 'confident woman' is....men are sometimes astounded that we don't play games like many a young woman. We don't manipulate...we have found serenity in who we are and understand that if we have to manipulate a man to get what we want/ to get our way, then that man/relationship is not for us.

Excellent point! I’m over 70, widowed for 1 yr now, and would like to have a renewed life, as a mature Christian woman. I took care of my husband for 12 yrs, very intensively over his last 5 yrs, and as his medical diagnosis’s increased so did his mental health issues. I know what kind of warm male friendship I would like to have with a man, and don’t want to play any games. I think that widowers have more in common with a widow, and therefore aren’t game players either.

I am so happy I found you; I am 52; married to someone 26 years my senior; he now has dementia; Parkinson’s and Stage 4 COPD, I also help with my grandkids, whom i love dearly, I used to take really good care of myself and was described as unforgettable, but have not really taken care of myself the last few years; you have really inspired me to love and care for myself again

I am 62 and my husband is 12 younger than me. We have been together for 27 years so fare. All the things you said, is what my husband says about me, because I asked him, "Why do you love me?" his reply was, "there are a million reason why I love and cherish you, but your sense of humour, your intelligence, your skill at art, your kindness, your patience when things go wrong, just to name a few things he said. Of course, I cannot see any of this. I have raised 3 children the eldest is 39 then 36 and the youngest is 25. My first husband passed away Wayne is my second, and every day with him is like watching a beautiful sunset. Thank you for sharing your advice, you are indeed an unforgettable woman. I loved it! Great insights and advice! I remember when I was young and having 3 older sisters I was always trying to win their approval. I took their criticisms to heart. It was very hard to grow up with them in the same house along with my other 2 brothers. I was glad when they all moved out! I'm not close to any of them today because they all took it too far. Even as I became an adult and had my own 5 children...they took it too far. I am proud if the woman and mother I've become and I have dear dear friends that love me and will never forget me! I do love the song 'Unforgettable'. Sandra this is such a thought evoking video. I don't know about others but I was thinking of different emotions I felt as you touched on so many aspects. There's the physical features, character and the life experiences of a woman that help develop her and her persona. How others view us or will remember us is another thing.
I once saw a bumper sticker 35+ years ago saying something like- Let your teen leave home while they know it all. Haha so true. The older we get, the more we learn, the more we realize there's so much more to know. Through life as we hopefully mature we learn more about ourselves. We then can work, hone or fine tune gifts. There are young women who truly believe they are confident and they are. They are confident within the world as they know it until it changes. I believe those who take baby steps with occasional leaps and seek to grow and become develop to be truly genuine and unforgettable.
I always add the spiritual aspect to all things in my life. My hope comes from faith. I'm still becoming who I'm supposed to be and to do. Through life as a young mother, a then wife, education, return to college, various careers, challenges, bigger challenges, loss and love of life I keep looking up. Am still learning, still make mistakes, appreciate and am grateful for each new day.

I'm older too, but still struggling to hold on to that confidence which I have found, but which I easily lose again due to being unsure. I wish I could find just how to keep it when I feel it. Innoway, I think some of us grew up in the dark ages. So much information and support was not out there for us. We kind of had to build our own self-esteem and work our way through life. It took me a long time to realize that I was worthy of more than was expected of me.❤️

I love how I feel mentally as Im growing older. I know the person I am and that's all that matters is that I love who I am. I love and care very much my family, friends. I see them respecting caring more about me since I've learned to love respect myself. I couldn't be more happier within myself except for the physical so I could do more in my life. But I think positively and do the best I can.

I have never had an artichoke at 66 but if I did now, I would just laugh and admit it. My mom used to say every age has its compensations. We need to look for those and be grateful as we will never be this age again. My son’s wedding is Saturday. I’ve been trying to look young...then yesterday I tripped and fell on my face....yep....big chin bump today....swollen lip and eye. I have to do a reading up in front of everyone....I will use some concealer of corse but I will still go up there and smile and give my blessing....as I’m happy I’m still here bruised and all!
