    I love summer sausage. My favorite summer sausage is the ones that have the seeds in them. It really gives it a great flavor. My little dog loves to help me eat it when I get some sliced up with some extra sharp cheddar cheese. I don't give her the cheese though. Binds her up.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ

      I typically do 10 pounds of venison and 15 pounds of pork with some beef. I honestly think for summer sausage a good 70% meat to 30% fat gives me a good flavor for my venison sausage!

    Is the PK100 better for sausage then a vertical pellet? can you do sausage or bacon in a gravity feed,?

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  Před rokem

      First thanks for watching! Yes the PK100 is made to smoke sausage, bacon, and whatever you want to cure! Bothe a vertical and a gravity fed can "cook" sausage. They can't run as low of temps but they both can add enough smoke but a lot of times you get casings that have bursted open for not being able to dry the sausage out slowly. The best sausage or bacon I make is always out of the PK100. The sawdust has always added the perfect amount of flavor and color I am looking for. But the PK100 is a pricy hand made in the USA unit. I also use mine all the time to keep food warm overnight but I have done some prime rib in there that turned out great! I need to try a couple racks of very low n slow ribs in there someday. Thanks for watching!

    With all due respect if you have to open a box to make summer sausage your not making summer sausage. Its like making a box cake and calling it home made. Great video but in the end its all about selling you a box.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ  Před rokem +14

      Ha ha that is kind of a retarded comment. Tons of people want to make sausage 1 time so this “box” has everything they need. Instead of “buying” multiple types of seasonings that will just end up getting old. I make sausage at least 3 times a year and I have stuff that gets old. So stop pretending you have this extra long penis that everyone sits a stares at because you buy your sausage ingredients in individual packages and not a complete box. This still is homemade sausage ya dildo, but just everything you need for a 25 pound batch is in one box. Again this really is just a troll comment with zero context or facts behind your moronic comment. So in the end you are just a typical Antifa member sucking on a communist’s dick.

      Not a bad video, but let's look at your behavior. Some guy disagrees with your choice of spices, in a pretty respectful way, and you lose your shit.
