I need a small greenhouse here in Oklahoma (U.S.). We had a freak ice storm last week that terminated my tomatoes. And electricity😒.
Actually on most winter days here, with a greenhouse on the south side of a windbreak (building), it would take minimal extra heat. I've seen earth sheltered ones that NEVER needed heat. Love your videos. Both channels!

Pretty cool, i wish i could have my greenhouse on the south side of my house as well. Having a greenhouse is just the best thing a gardener can have 👍

If you plant Amy, will another one grow? 🤣😬😬 Winter gardening is tough. It’s nice that you’re still getting vegetables from the garden. Peace, Lilly.

I need to get a small green house. I took out my tomatoes and everything else except peppers at end of September. Took out peppers in second week of October. Wish I could grow longer. Green house seems to be the answer. Love seeing Amy! See you next time.

Its most definitely is finished of growing out side for this year , only greenhouse crops with warmth will flourish this time of year , Lilly your greenhouse glass needs to be a lot clearer to get sunlight through to your crop plants thats very important.
Amy can be very destructive playful , you got that right.
    Lilly .

Lille A tomato with just a small bit of colour, when picked, will ripen as sweet as any others.

I picked the last of my tomatoes last week - they're inside ripening with the help of a banana! Possible frost this week, and we're back in lockdown on Thursday :-(

What about just changing the name to 'Gardening Lilly' lol - then you can develop a whole catchy franchise of 'lilly' enterprises

Ciao. Quick question with regards to the green fabric you have added to contain the ground in your raised beds. Which material did you choose? Are they impermeable? Hope not disturbing you.

Tomatoes need lots of nutrients. That's right. But from what I understood, the reason to not grow tomatoes in the same spot is possible diseases on the plants.
You can always replenish the nutrients.
But if the tomatoes have a disease this can stay up to 5 years on the soil. If you plant in the same spot the new plants would get that instantly, as well.
So if you take off any brown leaves or otherwise unhealthy looking plant and you get enough fertiliser in the ground, you could plant tomatoes in the same spot over and over again.
That's at least what my inlaws do, with great harvest every year.
From what I understand the issue with diseases is also the reason why you should not throw any tomatoes or tomato plants on the compost pile. If there is a disease in those plants you spread it with the compost so over your growing beds.
As I said, that's how I understand the issue of planting tomatoes in the same spot vs. crop rotation.

You need to train that dog. She'll never learn if you don't teach her. I love dogs and know that they need discipline and training. They like it. It's not mean to teach your dog. They love to learn.
