I don’t really like mushrooms, but my mother does. I sometimes grow things for her in my garden. I am thinking of growing mushrooms for her, so I am watching your videos on the subject.

I just got info from an online food seller that they have a surplus of mushroom growing kits. Don't want to spam though and it's only sold in Switzerland anyway. But just in general: It happens frequently that there are such kits on sale and if you want to get into the topic they are good enough. Probably also an affordable way to get initial mycelium.
Can you put grain spawn on top and fruit it? This is such a neat tek you should call it something cool.

Seems like you could easily introduce contamination with this method.
why not just use agar in these jars? you could even use a modified lid and inoculate with liquid culture or spores

Your going to get sick messing around with mushrooms..it looks like your whinceing reacting to the ptoject. Throw all that stuff away and listen no body is going to do this stuff .stick to veggies and topics that are helpfull and fun, survival interests .
She is properly sterilizing everything so there is an extremely low chance of getting sick
