I have visited the gravesite of Zora Neale Hurston. I placed flowers at her gravesite. It’s Ms. Walker that made it possible to have the headstone placed on Zora’s unmarked grave. Ms. Walker is a beautiful soul.

If she wants the best for everyone, I wonder if she want whats best for heterosexual black men; considering the fact that she demonized the image of black men in her novels. I don't think you read anything she wrote otherwise you wouldn't spout such nonsense. Many of her works gave voice to the voiceless. Nowhere did she lie to black American women and I don't recall her ever saying you can have it all. However, bw can make up their own mind about seeking better quality lives by removing the shackles that bind them. A goal we should all have is to be free of people and systems that control us which is beautifully exemplified in The Color Purple.
