I'm in Louisiana and I absolutely love love love this show. Especially when someone wants gets way more than they expected. Like the couple that wanted to raise £3,000 and actually raised over £51,000 !!!
being as this was in 2004, I really really hope they went to Greece, given that the horrific Boxing Day tsunami smashed Thailand in 2004. I remember watching this epi not long after we got our home in the woods in CT; great memories. Hope the couple are doing well and that their holiday was fab!
What a strange thing to do. To sell all those lovely things they've kept for such a long time, those dog portraits, the claret jug, the unique fox door stop, that clock, etc. etc. for a sofa that'll last about 10 years before they pay someone 50 quid to take it away. It's no good saying, "we won't let the dog on it" it'll take 2 weeks before he's sharpening his claws.
Wow, your young expert guy doing the valuations was really good, far more accurate and knowledgeful than some of the more mature and experienced experts. Spot on! Enjoy your hols!!
That's how it's done .Makes such a difference wich auctionneer handles the Hammer. This must be an old episode . Lewis look exactly how I remember him . Today's proces are much lower due to terrible and uninterested auctionneers. This on3 though is brilliant .Loved it .
They dont get ALL the money ,do they?? The auction house gets a fee, the estimater, etc.. But, they did good anyways. I can not imagine the wealth of antiques and good stuff Britain has!!
Jeremy Clarkson and James May brought me here
me too :D
Hahahah same here!
How do you feel ?
Me too hahaha
Your husband has just had a heart attack, how do you feel about that?

I love Cash in the Attic. I watch it every weekday am and enjoy it so much.
If you look closely at the auctions you see many of the stars from the antique's road trip some years later
Love this show, used to be able to watch it on BBC America. Happy to have typed in this episode and see a young James Lewis doing his thing!
17:26 If Top Gear brought you here

Both dog paintings are in the original frame, the second one is just missing a bit of tape.It has never been out.
Loved watching this on BBC America. Wish they'd bring it back.

Better than celebrity cash in the attic
Just saw this couple on Bargain Hunt!!
My favorite show
The buyer and sellers should have just traded houses, he bought so much of their stuff. I wonder if they went on vacations together after this!!
This episode was sofa-cking good.
Excellent quality...please post more!
They seemed to like appearing in antiques shows. I see they popped up in an episode of Bargain Hunt as well.

What happened to Paul Hayes? He doesn't seem to do TV any more does he!?
Must feel good when the bids are higher. Where's an episode with Jonty? 😂
Does anyone know where I can watch more episodes, it is not aired anymore
The house is very funny looking! Half bricks, half shingled. I have never seen anything like it!
I preferred the old sofa and chairs!
I'm here because of Gavin and Stacey
