Is the Spotify version audio only??
Watch? Only audio.
Howson is a complete bum licker. Grovelling little runt. Sack Howson, he doesn't represent the fans. He's agenda driven and so are his channels.
Watch? Spotify is audio only.
Why split this kind of amazing interviews in 1-2-3 parts? Bring us as usual old times, when you just sit and watch it at once
for real, maybe they want to split it because the topics are different but i agree with you, its a bit silly
Stop whining and just enjoy the content
Man’s copying vlad
@@tmac5146how much did they pay u to say this?
I genuinely think it's dumb as well and will affect the numbers bcuz I know most fans sit and watch the entire episodes for these types of interviews....and this isn't particularly long either. So they're tryna build anticipation but I think it will have the opposite effect. Some will watch one and don't watch the second but might catch the 3rd. Just give us the full interview first and then in 3 days you can start splitting it like the Katt Williams interview
Joel knew he couldn’t turn up with a cap on to this interview 😂
Glad he knew he should shut up too
thanks guy i am a 51 year old man utd fan and always said sir alex and mr gill are 2 men that have given me so much happiness , so many smiles alone with the many teams they both built together, such a privilage to listen and watch , thank you mr gill , much respect and many of us owe you so many smiles
Well said 👏
i was there the 1st home game after rio signed for us, i hope he reads this as i sure he will remember me i was the short guy telling him to rev his aston martin my fav car and he obliged , made my freaking day he noticed me lol
@@stegray1422
Totally agree 🤠
Mr David Gill you are a GENTLEMAN 110% thanks for that interview😁😁
Never clicked something so quickly!
Thanks Rio for bringing us this amazing series. It's lovely for United fans like myself to hear from Mr Gill. He, SAF and you are a huge part of my United memories. 🤩🥰
Our pleasure!
Would like to thank you Mr Ste especially your wife and kids for sharing you with all the Fans. It's not an understatement to say that what you do takes you away from your family but know we are also your family. This has been a culmination of your hard work over the years to bring us United Rio and Paddok fans so close to Mr Gill. I know you have your list of greats to interview I'm sure you do but I cant wait for you and Sir alex to sit down .thank you for working so hard thank your wife and kids for sharing you with all of us to bring us closer to United. Thank you Rio for seeing the potential but also the current talent of this man and not only being an icon and mentor to him.. keep him close keep him safe. He represents all fans world wide.from Africa all the way to Manchester. ❤😊
Fascinating interview, need to get more people like David Gill on the channel, the fact he started his career as an Accountant then became CEO of United is crazy impressive
Agreed, but no-one becomes an accountant to account. They do it for a well paid career, nothing passionate, just crunching numbers all day. Every single day. And its their clients they go for for favours. On the outside the CEO sounds great, but your still stuck behind a desk 11 hours a day, albeit a fancy desk and a massive wage.
Yeah. No one sits behind a desk all day in return for a wage do they?
Agreed with comments about sticking it into one long video like JRE and then cutting out specific parts into shorter videos if wanted.
This is a discussion and chat, it should be available like were there listening to the whole thing
Glazers out we have not forgotten but david thanks for the interview
I am loving Part 1 of the interview already!!! This man is what a CEO should be like. Way to carry yourself Sir.
Rio this interview was like watching you scoring the header against Liverpool in last minute ❤️👹
David Gill did a fantastic job running the club. Great memories of those years
Shout to She and the Team for asking some good questions. A well dynamic talk with an interesting figure in football for Man Utd
No wonder we were so successful. Gil comes across as a wonderful communicator.
Thank you Rio for every episode with Mr Gill. Very insightful. If CZcams had a ‘love’ button, it would be getting pressed. I would have liked to know more about what he’s been doing at UEFA though
He really strikes me as the type of bloke who loves his football, loves his Stella, loves his dog.
Nice insights from the Man who orchestrated things behind the scenes… one request in the year 2024.. Bring Antonio Valencia for a seat down.. this is my 5th request… Come on UTD!!
On it!
What an intelligent and dignified man. Real class
David Gill always seems like such a cool guy
David Gill is the nicest and most down to earth guy you ll ever meet ... i am lucky to meet him reguler at my work place..
Mr Ferdinand thank you very much for this heart warming interview, I especially appreciated the renewed hope and your respect for Mr Gill. Once again Thank you respect given where it is due.
Thanks for listening
What a great Part. David Gill who has been at United with SAF during our most successfull era, provides the insights and thought on the club people like me haven‘t heard yet. Well done
Love how Rio still addresses him as Mr Gill.
Bit cringe imo and even more cringe is that Gill doesn't tell him to stop it
@@dondamon4669nothing cringe about being respectful
@@dondamon4669the word cringe is to be associated with you new gen
Beat me to it. It's pure respect. You can never address someone by their first name unless told you can. It was instilled by fergie
yeah you new generation don't know what respect is@@dondamon4669
You can tell the respect Rio has for David Gill, great interview boys 🔥🔥🔥
Been waiting for this the whole day. Watching from South Africa 🇿🇦
You and me both meneer🙌🏼🇿🇦

Nice one ! so interesting hearing David speak about his view from our succcessful era. Many propaly don't appreciate what an important role he played in us being som successful. Already looking forward to part 2 =)
What a gent. Having Mr Gill at the helm was a privileged period ❤
This guy is a genius but so calm in his approach. I could listen to him all day. We could do a lot worse than have him back
This channel is doing big things!
This is by far the best sports channel- much better than Sky. Kudos to FIVE team captained by Rio Rio Rio.
This is mega, well done Rio 👏 keep pulling them strings! ❤
Great respect for this man, and rightly so, Rio after all these years still refers to him as Mr Gill, and means it.
The best CEO United had or ever will have.
Top man.
Congratulations on a great interview. Rio killing it .
Brilliant interview with David, thank you! Come on you Reds!!! ⚽🔥🏆❤️
Glad you enjoyed it
You know you’ve done amazing things when all of your former employees still refer to you as Mr. Gill. Nice one lads.
Rio the legend, brilliant content always. Such a gentleman always! Calm and collected. David gill what an amazing influence at united in terms of our achievements with him, true fans will never forget what an absolute genius he was for us behind the scenes.
Have to say huge thanks and respect to Ste for asking questions about the debt and glazers even though Mr Gill was uncomfortable. Brilliant interview
Well said
Great interview. Really liked the fact he cut through alot of the nonsense/narratives that get bandied about amongst our fanbase, particularly when it comes to the Debt issue. He essentially says it's not a major issue. It has some effect, but was never the reason United couldn't go out and buy a player. Straight from the horses mouth.
He traversed the Glazer question well
Too protective of them imo
Complicit, otherwise he would've criticised
Him and Sir Alex did so much good for the club but they also allowed what happened to happen and that cant be swept under the rug
Good CEOs handle such questions with a wave of the hand. That's why he's a CEO.
No choice he can't say too much on that
Mr Gill, we were sorry to see you go 😢❤👊🏾 but 🔥🔥🔥 interview well done Vibe with 5 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great interview, my guys come with the kicks, Ste Clark’s, Rio a Jordan, Joel a McQueen 🔥
Oh nice, quite the interview - looking forward to checking this one out!
Hope you enjoy it!
Appreciate this content , cheers
That’s one hell of an interview ❤️
Great you got this guy on the show
Gill and Ferguson knew there was no point asking for large spending under the Glazers because the money was not there! It is a devious way Gill puts this. City was buying players like Aguero, Silba and others around 2010. Where was United? Michael Owen on a free!!
Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov, Van Persie, Carrick ect all came in for decent money (at the time)
Roney and Ronaldo were pre-Glazer which makes the point. Facts are United's transfer spending compared to rivals decreased markedly between 2005-13 @@Timekeeper1200
@@BARGEWALK the Glazer's have rarely been outbid for players. Too much so at times-to the point where they overspend! For all their (many) faults they have always made money available for transfers. It's just been spent on $hite.
Love this & love how quickly David answers some questions
Rio’s got some connects! Impressive.
He was once kind of his boss
Gill was very close with the players .
Banging interview! Can’t wait for the other parts to drop! Great job gents!
More to come!
Mr. Gill rolling off the first names of everyone ❤
brilliant to hear from david. well done rio
Mr.Gill!! Great interview again. Looking forward to who's next. Sir Alex lol
That would be MEGA
Big as sir Alex for me mega partnership!🖤❤
Really good Video Lads 👍
Love this, I could listen to his stories about Utd for hours.
Thank you so much for this interview. The access we get on this channel is unmatched
Our pleasure!
Great interview
Thank you David Gill for all the hard work in Man U
Great work #teamfive thisbvideo is hitting a million views atleast
Lol great interview my word man.. Howson chatting like he understands debt structures makes laugh
Like when he's talking about football
Not the same level.
Great insight of what’s hopefully to come for #MUFC!
‘Positivity’ ((👊))
Howson. Love the trim mate 👍🏽
Gary is a legend he used to bring the yoynger players in to get better contracts for them 😂 he was captain off the pitch where keane was on football side
Very good interview
This. Is. Amazing.
Thanks a lot. What a great interview
Our pleasure!
United were so fortunate to have David Gill as CEO at the same time as Sir Alex
A gentleman and a shrewd businessman

This is a great channel. I love it. Great work, Rio & Co 👏🙌
Thanks so much!
Ow yes brilliant stuff
Drop more parts soon!
The content i subscribed for
It’s mad seeing rio bowing , respect 🫡
Great content, Rio
Yes @rio smashing bruv!!!!❤
I want more interview!!!!! Too short rio, we could have an hour easy with this guy
That's what you've got when you add all the videos together ! I agree splitting the interview like that is distracting and annoying !
Went to school with his lad. My mum was a partner with him at a law firm.....cool dude. Did great things for the club that went unnoticed at the time and clearly show now
seems like there is some sort of NDA between Gill/Sir Alex and Manchester United - where they are so careful and explicit with their choice of words. Its so obvious
Man is still in great shape physically and mentally, could easily have been our CEO all this time
What a guest🙏🏾
Any chance of a 12 hour version of this?
howson covering his eye with make up got me screaming
wow this is a huge interview always wanted to know what went on with Ronaldinho
Where does he mention Ronaldinho? I think I've missed it
@@Arun-lf3kvpart 3
@@Arun-lf3kvbriefly at the start it’s in the others too , but there’s probably going to be 4-6 parts from what it looks like
MUFC is UNITED, there just isn’t any other club in England, UK, Europe or the world that is anywhere or anything like UNITED. The background staff, the manager, the players and especially the fans just need hope again… Hopefully SJR et al can recreate and fix our club and return us to be the premier pioneers and true champions.
Would love if the mic was better. Maybe it's the way David Gill talks but I'm straining to hear him.
Good stuff
Appreciate it
That was good. Interesting highlighting the leaky roof and that success does cover up issues.
Glad you liked it!
David Gill ❤
😂Rio my childhood 😢hero. Bying cards with your image, replica jerseys etc! Was young when you visted Uganda but felt as if we met! Each video here brings alot memories.
david gill the beat director we ever had !!!!
Ste asking real questions
Can someone tell me if I'm wrong... this must be the first interview David Gill has done ? Well I've never seen one
Not sure what part 3 will bring, but (and I say this with all respect because Ste knows), I was a little disappointed in the discussion around the debt (and kudos Ste for bringing up the total interest payments since 2005), but this was a great opportunity to bring up the lack of investment in the ground and training facilities since the Glazers took over. I wasn’t in the south stand - I’m in K - so I don’t know if it leaked back then too, but the fact is - it leaks and does in N2402 where I am. I’d have asked if Ineos plan to do something with the infrastructure and stadium and why the Glazers put zero £ into the infrastructure since 2005. Maybe there were agreements on topics not to bring up, but as a match going fan - that’s what I’d want to hear more about. Especially as a director who I’m sure at some point in the last 18/19 years would have said “Joel/Brian - I’m getting piss wet through, when are you going to fix that?”
UP & ON
4:27 wimped out of that one and squirmed through the answer.
There will never be a title challenge as long as the Glazers are there "it's about glory and honour" two words the Gazers have absolutely no concept of whatsoever
I agree your sentiment, but now we have Ratcliffe and co at the helm, things will change, they are football people unlike the Glazers, the Glazers will keep to the background, Ratcliffe loves Utd unlike the Glazers, the plans he has already instigated shows this, he's only been there a few weeks and just look at the changes planned for the future, absolutely mind boggling, he's not just talking the talk but walking the walk ! or put another way he's putting his money where his mouth is, and not slow at coming forward !
@@Colin-From-Corby-yy4vb Doesn't matter what he plans the Glazer virus infects everything at that club from top to bottom and as long as the "fans" keep them there (buying tickets and shirts) it won't make a blind bit of difference, there's only one man who could counteract their dishonourable leeching ethos and he retired 10 years ago...and when they go for the super league again it's over anyway.
May as well go the full hog lads and get the boss himself on the show 🤣 If only!
Great interview ❤
This is massive
