I just love this version of "Friday I'm in Love"! The young lady has such a beautiful voice! I could listen to her interpretation of this song all day long!!! But the complete orchestra did an absolutely stunning job!!! Please keep up the great work!!!

As a flute player myself, this one had me from the first note. I just wish that the woman flutist with her elegant delivery and delicious tone could have also played the melody line...

Back in 1982 when I was growing up in Florida listening to Pornography on my Sony Walkman, thinking I was the only one on the planet who even knew The Cure existed, I could never have imagined that in 2020 I’d be watching a video - on my phone - of an orchestra and choir performing a silly song by The Cure. But here I am doing just that. I’ve always been and forever will be a die-hard loyalist. I winced when the video first started, but came around to liking it. Whatever turns Robert Smith into an everlasting, enduring icon is alright by me. 💋🖤

Culture is like a reality TV show where folks get voted out with each generation by simply being ignored. Those who survive become Classics. I have had the same experience you have had. I remember thinking the first time that I saw the video for Take On Me by A-Ha that I would never see it again, but now its becoming a Classic. Things like this orchestral interpretation are a testament to the brilliance of The Cure that new generations want to take it forward.
