TRIP REPORT | Brussels Airlines (CityJet) Sukhoi Superjet 100 | Stockholm Bromma - Brussels

- Let's kick off this year with a new trip report! Join me on my first Sukhoi Superjet flight that took me from Stockholm Bromma to Brussels.
On the day off publishing this video, Brussels Airlines has just flown their last SSJ flight, SN2254 from Billund to Brussels. The airline was originally planning to fly the Sukhois until late-March 2019 but just recently decided to retire them much earlier. Watch the video to find out why!

Back in Dec. 2013 I flew on an Interjet's SSJ100 for my also 1st -and still only- Russian plane flight .. and I totally loved the experience its a real shame these spare parts problems are grounding this great bird.

Superb video to start the new year! Haven't flown in or out of Bromma myself yet so was interesting to see how the airport is like. I also know very little about Brussels Airlines so was nice to learn some more details about them. Shame about the issues with the SSJ.. but at least you made it onboard just in time and were able to share the exprerience with us :D

It's indeed sad that the SSJ are now gone as the flight really did exceeded my expectations and I would have loved to have more flights on board their Sukhoi. If I had to choose between Brussels' SSJ and A32x I would - without hesitation - choose the first one. A video of my Brussels A319 flight will follow in the future! :)
it's a very beautiful aircraft. I like it. perfect size for European domestic flights.

Really cool video! Such a shame the SSJ left the Brussels fleet.. Going to visit Stockholm soon too :) Sadly not flying out of or into Bromma.. only Arlanda

To day, Brussels Airlines is still flying to Bromma. With a A319 though.

I dont know how many times i have been on Bromma Flygplats. Best part with it is when you finaly sit on the plane. i hate the people (often fancy dressed ones) who come late and doesent give a fk about the queue system. :) I subbed, you do videos i like :) /best regards Västkusten.

Indeed. They don't operate the Sukhois anymore which were replaced by CRJs.
