Mark has been that history professor in my life. His teachings have not only helped me immensely through my CFA prep but have also turned me into a better thinking individual. One of the best teachers I have had the fortune to study under.

I'm a CFA Charterholder because of Mark. But I still check his you tube channel for content on investment strategies etc. I would actually pay to get an investment newsletter from Mark each month, and I'm in the investment industry where I get free access to a lot of them.. If you're a CFA candidate, or planning on taking the CFA exam, MARK IS THE BEST!! He's on a different level.

The man, the myth, the legend. Mark's mannerisms are so much like my own father's that it was like listening to my own father with a Canadian accent.
I really appreciate everything he has done for the community. His CFA content is hands down the absolute best and he is really humble.

Thanks for this great stuff AJ. Mark, a great personality. My CFA journey started with Mark's free videos on CZcams. They are absolutely great! When he moved to site I didn't even give a second thought to pay for it. Every penny is worth there - subject videos, review videos, practice questions, mock exams and finally Applied market series.
He is a great teacher/individual who knows what, when and how to deliver, sometimes fun included. Would love to meet him in person. He says he's gonna "dump all videos on CZcams when it's over" is one of the best of best decision in my opinion. Cheers!

This man is a genius. It’s amazing to me how you can be surrounded by people who aren’t critical or thorough thinkers and in turn you actually may believe that you’re ‘one of them’.
But when you come across someone who is as intelligent as he is educated, you’re reminded that you aren’t alone in how you process information and practically apply it.
Spent the first 10 mins trying to calm down,some surreal stuff my two favourite people 😃😇..
I sat for Level 2 last month after four demotivating deferrals,not going to pass been a tough time but we continue grinding.

Loved this interview, really appreciate Mark sir for taking out the time and doing this, extremely humble of him. It's a complete no brainer decision for anyone sitting for the CFA exam, his content is way more than simply getting you through the exam, much more practical and intuitive, be it theory or calculations. His videos are the best investment decision one can make, hell it's even worth it even if you're not doing CFA but are a finance enthusiast, I believer there are many subscribers who aren't doing CFA but are there simply because of his content, impeccable quality and worth every CAD.
I'm not planning on getting the CFA, I just enroll in MM's prep for learning. It's incredibly good.
I have such deep respect for this man, it hurt when he shared about losing his dog.

I'm level 3 candidate, paid for Dr. Mark Meldrum services this time (never had providers per say before). I just sat for the test this November 2021. All I can say is, pass or fail, Dr Merldrum offers one the most outstanding CFA related teachings out there. Dr. Meldrum, thank you.

Seeing a trend where anyone who talks bad about the Tates in the SLIGHTEST are immediately targeted by Tate or his people (like Justin Waller). A celebrity mentions something bad about them, then tates network will make a short about that person..

First off, thanks a lot for setting up this amazing interview. Loved every single word spoken by Mark.
One thing, people have short span of time these days. For his words to reach out to more audience I would suggest creating shorter videos of 10-15min. Specially the one where he talks about political views being right, left or centre.

I’m 25. I goofed off as a young man and now I’ve found my passion for finance.
I found a company called financial edge who I think has great material on portfolio management, FIG banking, investment banking, private equity and more.
I’m debating whether or not I should go back to school. I’m thinking about just taking those courses and studying under mark meldrum.
What advice would you have for me?
Oh and for context I want to start my own hedge fund. But my plans are to get that 65 so I can manage my client’s portfolios and charge a fee. The hedge fund is important but while I want to be trading equities and options I want to be actively involved in private equity as well.
Is the ‘college’ model outdated and can I just study and self develop my way to success? Or would you recommend a bachelors, then CFA, etc?
If you want to start your own venture, Financial Edge for education and MM for CFA prep is a great strategy. I don't think you NEED traditional college.
