    Nice shots of the CN! You’ll hear a lot of K5L’s NC P5’s P’3’s K5HL’s and K5LLA’s. Most new casts are on the smaller geeps, by there are some in gevo’s and newer emd’s. Amazing video tho! Can’t wait for the next one keep up the good work!

      Oh, I also forgot to mention, CN uses a lot, ALOT of old gtw’s and ic’s. And there’s tons of foreign power, well, at least in NE Wisconsin. By there’s still a good amount other places. They still have a good amount of C40-8M’s in service, most of them have P5’s or K5H’s, the Canadian Version tho, which seems to be the best. You should come up the the CN Neenah/Fox River sub, there’s about 30 Trains a day or so on the Neenah sub and about 10 a week on the Fox River. The Neenah yard also has 4 gtw’s and a few ic’s and an eje... all still in original paint! If you move down to the Waukesha sub, on Byron hill there’s either a pair of ic ols sd40-3’s or CN sd40-2w’s for helpers. Hope to see you up here soon!

    @mbmars01 Thanks! It reminds me: You did not enter this next region with USA trains, Ohio, I think! At the end of your 3rd expedition to the deep south, you should have train videos in Ohio on several lines: NS Chicago Line, CSX Pemberville Subdivision, CSX Willard Subdivision, NS Sandusky District, CSX Mt. Victory Subdivision, CSX Columbus Subdivision, CSX Garret Sub, CSX Toledo Subdivision, Wheeling and Lake Erie, and Bessemer and Lake Erie. If you look out on Google Maps, you can see Ohio. Many Ohio (United States) locations to railfan:
    Deshler (Crossroads Park, Diamond between CSX Garret and Toledo Subdivisions)
    Fostoria (Iron Triangle Park, Diamond between NS Fostoria District and CSX [not sure what subdivision is])
    Defiance (Control Point FC, Diamond between CSX Garret Subdivision and World's Worst Track [ND&W])
    Oak Harbor (NS Chicago Line, Oak Harbor, OH has an abandoned railroad bridge)
    Stryker (NS Chicago Line)
    Berea (NS Chicago Line and CSX Cleveland Short Line and Greenwich Subdivisions)
    Bryan (NS Chicago Line, Amtrak Station)
    Bayview (NS Chicago Line, Sandusky Bay/River)
    Attica (Diamond in between NS Sandusky District and CSX Willard Subdivision)
    Marion (Diamond between NS Sandusky District and CSX Mt. Victory and Columbus Subdivisions)
    and Huron - Rye Beach Rd. Grade Crossing (NS Chicago Line)
    Will you try out those places, please?

    • @mbmars01

    I have a possible suggestion for a place you could make a future railfanning video at. It's called Kentucky St. in Memphis TN, where you can get CSX, BNSF, NS, and UP.

    • @mbmars01
      @mbmars01  Před 5 lety +1

    Never understood why CN is in southern US. I know the history of how they got the tracks but it’s funny how Canada is up north, yet reaches to southern US. Great video. Can’t wait to see some more from near home though.

    • @mbmars01
      @mbmars01  Před 5 lety

      Yea, kinda funny, but since there's not much of a difference between the American and Canadian Class I roads it's not that surprising. I actually like that it only takes a road trip for me to see CN on their own rails.

    • @charlesshivoder2887
      @charlesshivoder2887 Před 5 lety +1

      Hello from Pennsylvania. The CN purchase of the IC was a stroke of genius, engineered of course by Hunter Harrison, who had been chief of the IC before moving to CN. That coupled with its exclusive bypass of Chicago congestion by the acquisition of the the EJ&E has given CN a unique customer advantage. HH, despite his aggressive personality and punctuated by his sudden and mysterious demise, is clearly the railroader who made greatest positive impact on NA rail industry in the last 60 years. A genius. CAS
